This trip was our very first trip to Turks and Caicos . The resort is beautiful and clean . I did see some roaches around but I am not sure if this is typical in the Caribbean so I won’t judge them for it . I do feel for the money this resort costs it should be immaculate clean and the rooms could be a little more updated. None of the above mentioned ruined our trip. We had an amazing time and Great memories to last a lifetime . We will definitely be back ! My husband had planned a surprise vow renewal for us and had worked it all out with Ericka who was fabulous she took care of every single detail from cake, flowers and food and everything else u can think of . She was unbelievably amazing . I did not have a clue and she went above and beyond with a smile on her face. To her I am forever grateful for creating such an unforgettable memory for my husband ,our Girls and I . Rooftop was our photographer he was also amazing . He made sure we were comfortable and took amazing pictures. He was funny and accommodating since it was very hot and he made sure we had waters and towels to cool off. Ericka and Rooftop were so unbelievably kind and helpful . I will most definitely never forget them and our experience . Nick was our Bartender for our reception and he was also unbelievable he made us an outstanding smooth and delicious margarita signature cocktail. This island now holds a very special place in our hearts and we can’t recommend it enough. If anyone is working with Ericka ,Rooftop and Nick please do not worry you are in the best hands . This was our second trip to Beaches T & C and our first experience with Butler Elite level. What a huge difference in experiences. The Butler Elite level is worth every penny. We were a group of 10 people, ages 11-52. We had a cabana set up with loungers, towels, and cold drinks at the pool of our choice every morning. Without Butler Elite you will be waking up at 5am to reserve pool chairs. Additionally we never waited for a meal as our butler escorted us to our meals and walked us directly to our table every night. Huge shout out to Sid the Kid and Reno for making our trip completely stress-free and relaxing. Finally you will not find a more beautiful beach anywhere! White sand, crystal clear waters and no sea weed, rocks, etc. that are common problems in the Caribbean. I would not hesitate booking a trip to Beaches. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

2nd Time at this resort and OMG how downhill it has gone. As last time Grounds and Beach are stunning, but thats where the positives end. Check in Staff, Rude ! Like you are an inconvenience being there. Resturant staff the same, pool bar staff the same. Food waiting times way too long, on our last night, sat down at Marios at 6.30pm, food arrived at 8.05pm not what you want with Children. Food quality sub par. No advertisements what is going on around the resort. I found out about quiz at Turtles on the last day when it was too late. No Tubes what so ever at the waterpark, they allowed us to buy our own from the Gift Shop, perhaps this is why to make money!. Barefoot by the sea, too many seagulls, staff did not seem bothered, again too long a wait for food. Shuttle leaves 4 hours before your flight, nothing at the Airport at all. For money paid there are far better resorts.

Good: a wonderful resort: beach is gorgeous, water is crystal clear, on shore snorkelling is amazing, resort amenities and entertainment are numerous and very good quality even for an all inclusive. Food selection is excellent esp during Friday Caribbean night, Schooners, Neptunes, Sky For improvement: our 2nd time to this resort in less than 5 years and it’s clear customer service is starkly lower. 1) some restaurants like Sky, Neptune and Barefoot have a mix of inexperienced staff, unhappy staff and beyond island time wait times for food. Schooner’s appears to have the best serving and chef team - food is consistently on time, repeatable quality and most of all pleasant staff 2) front desk staff has a mix of inexperience or disgruntled experienced staff to handle questions on extended stay (due to flight issues), explaining amenities/packages/entertainment (more of a perception of complacency vs commitment to customer service, pride in work and willingness to help) 3) some areas are showing wear and tear: Xbox lounge (many stations no longer working or outdated games), bathrooms by waterpark (many plumbing issues) On the flip side, Concierge manager went out of the way to understand why we had to leave earlier vs original checkout time - that was exemplary amid all the challenges with cancelled flights All in all the examples of good customer service are there but not consistent across the site. Separate: Word of caution for the resort owners to support the coral reefs with more recovery areas like the Bight Reef, reef safe sunblock guidance and minimizing touching / stepping on the coral. Some areas are bleaching more and need help to minimize reef damage

We were very hesitant to go here based on the many negative reviews, but we decided to go anyway as we were going with a big group. I will start by saying the resort is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and the beach is gorgeous. We were so excited for the trip that we decided to go a day early and stay at another resort so we could check in to Beaches early the next morning. Upon checking in, the woman at the counter was downright rude and acted as though our presence was bothering her. That’s when I realized we had made a very expensive mistake. Our room wasn’t ready so we started our day by grabbing breakfast at one of the buffets and spending time at the pool and beach. Our room was in the Key West village on the East side which bordered a parking lot. The first night was a disaster with loud music shaking my daughter’s bed and a motorcycle revving for an extended period of time. The next day I asked to be moved and we were thankful to be moved to another room. The new room was very hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working and had to be repaired, but it was fixed the same day. The repairman was very kind unlike most of the staff. We were in disbelief of the rudeness we encountered by most of the staff. We are from NY and we are accustomed to rudeness, but I have never experienced anything like it while on vacation. Most of the bartenders were rude as well as the restaurant waitstaff. The waterpark is a great place for kids and adults. The kids in our group ranged in age from 9-15 and they all enjoyed the waterpark. They have a limited amount of tubes so you have to get there early or you will be waiting a long time for a tube. By the end of the week there were very few tubes and they allowed us to use our own. If you plan on doing the professional photos choose your time slot wisely. We had our photos taken at 5:30 and the sun was so bright we couldn’t open our eyes. Instead of moving to a different location the photographer had us close our eyes and count to three and open them. We were squinting in almost every picture. While reviewing the pictures for some time I found a few decent ones. I asked about digital downloads and was told that I could only get printed copies. I saw another woman whisper something to the woman that told me no, so I felt like something was up. I paid $88 for 4 photos assuming they would be printed on quality photo paper. To my surprise they printed them right there and the quality was the same as a drugstore photo. I told them I wanted a refund as the picture color and quality was awful. Of course they were arguing with me but they did give me a refund. A few days later I overheard someone in the pool talking about digital downloads so my daughter went into the photo shop to ask and they told her we could get digital downloads when I was previously told no. Now onto the food… it’s just not good! We tried Mario’s, Schooners, Neptunes, La Petite, Soy and hibachi for dinners. The worst meal was at Mario’s. It was borderline inedible. The appetizer buffet was decent, but the entrees were terrible! Our favorite place for dinner and only good meal was at La Petite. My husband enjoyed the jerk chicken truck and the chicken wings at Cricketers for lunch. We tried the burgers at Arizonas, Cricketers and Dinos and they were all disgusting! There was over an hour wait for the pizza and it tasted worse than a frozen pizza at the grocery store. There was a long wait at almost every restaurant including breakfast. Our friends had a butler and gave up on sit down breakfasts as the wait was too long every day. Our favorite breakfast was at Barefoot. We enjoyed ordering our eggs the way we like them and the French toast is delicious. The drinks at the bar at watered down and after 2, i I got a stomach ache. My expectations of the food was low, but I was thinking it would be similar to cruise quality food. Not even close! Most of the food was disappointing to say the least. For over 10K the food should not taste like garbage. I love to eat and never looked forward to a meal here. I could deal with the rude employees if the food was good, but it was so bad it’s the main reason we would never return. The water at the beach is clean and refreshing and the included water sports were fun. We never got to paddle board because the flags were never green during our stay. The pools were dirty, murky and crowded. Even at 7am the empty pools were dirty. We never had a problem getting chairs because we were up early and hung out by the pool but I know this could be an issue for some. Our room was outdated but I loved the location. It was a l1b category and looked like a little villa. The only complaint was the floors always felt dirty and the sofa bed and trundle mattresses were very springy and uncomfortable. Update: just got home and opened one suitcase to a dead roach. All of the suitcases were thrown outside and will be unpacked there. Someone at the pool told us their room had to be moved because of roaches. So gross!!!
