What appears to be a nice and highly rated Boutique Hotel is no way near the 5 stars, that it seems to have been awarded

The hotel is worth 2 stars on a good day. One star for the nice Personel and another one for the nice views of the sea. Most of all We felt very dissapointed when we first got here. The hotel doesn’t live up to the high ratings and grace that it has been given here on Trustpilot. The hotel itself is chic or maybe it was at some point but some of the charm still remain. The rest has faded away with time, so to say. The rooms are nice looking from the inside but we didnt appreciate the overall functioning of it. It is very noisy and the comments about the neighboring-bar blasting music out loud late into the night are true. Also, the aircon is very loud when running. Small and old TV and a bedframe you will hurt your shins or toes on. The way to the hotel is kind of sketchy and the hotel is kind of far away from Lamai city. I would ask you to think atleast twice before booking your stay here. Or else, try your luck and give it a go.

Beautiful place but very noisy

While the rooms were more or less ok, (the bathroom smelled a bit funny) . The staff was really friendly but the bar at the rock blared out very loud music all day long until 2 am every night without ever stopping, so loud that there was a constant rumble in our room. This spoiled our stay at the otherwise beautiful resort.

Amazing hotel

Pros: Lovely and huge room Lovely setting Really friendly staff Perfect arrival - it was pouring with rain and the staff came raining up the lane to take our luggage and give us umbrellas! Water replenished daily Nice pool Loved the pink theme Bathroom was huge & really nice Good location The staff were very aware of who was staying at the hotel and made a point of stopping people using the grounds as a shortcut to the beach Cons: I think there is a drainage issue but the lovely wax melt burner was constantly on which meant this wasn’t a problem Food and drink was quite expensive so we didn’t eat at the hotel Some of the pool cushions etc were looking a little faded The hotel is located around a 20 minute walk to the main area of Lamai but we enjoyed the walk and there is plenty to see/stop at on the way. Highly recommend this hotel. Also recommend a visit to the rock bar around the corner!
