Bequia Beach Hotel "The Best"

If I could give 10 stars it would not be a stretch. The epitome of customer service from reservations - reception -housekeeping-restaurant-bar-maintenance. The accommodations and grounds impeccable. We met some truly seasoned professionals who took care of every need no matter how small. Maintaining that level of customer service is a herculean task and they all accomplish that with ease. Our thanks to Leslie-Nyia-Sierra-Beba-Janell-Hope-Andrew and every one else that I failed to mention for such a wonderful time. I could go on and on but highly recommend the Bequia Beach Hotel to anyone.

Beautiful spot in paradise

Wow, what a hotel. From the moment you arrive you can relax, whether by the pools, in the beach bar or grounds. The free shuttle to Jack's bar on the other side of the island takes minutes and transports you to beautiful white sandy beaches. Would recommend talking the stroll along the coastal pathway from Jack's into the main town or up towards Lower Bay (this was almost deserted despite being Easter holiday time). We didn't eat at Jack's but did at the hotel. Prices for dinner and lunch in the main restaurant are expensive but it is very easy to get a taxi to Lower Bay or elsewhere for meals. The breakfast was superb, fantastic choice of food whilst overlooking the sea. We visited the beach bar for lunch once during out stay and wish we had gone more, fresh food and juices reasonably priced. The grounds were so well maintained, staff very keen to share their knowledge of the fruits growing and plants in the gardens. The general manager was present throughout the day, speaking to all guests. We would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent resort for all types of people. Awesome pools, great beach area and the food was some of the best we have ever had in the Caribbean!! Service is very good, the staff are super friendly. Managers are attentive to your needs and go out of their way to make your stay special. Free shuttle to Princess Margaret Beach and Jacks Beach Bar. If you walk on the beach, you can also eat at Sand Bar, an enjoyable ocean/beach walk from the resort. Vintage theme, but modern convivences. If you want a relaxing time away from the electronic world, this is your place.

Doesn’t get any better.

Attention to detail was amazing. Everyday we had fresh bottles of water and ice in our room. If we needed anything it was met with a genuine smile. Plenty of extra comfortable lounging areas whether it be by the pool, bar, restaurant, beach, or lobby. Things to do: two hour tour around the island is a must. We were especially captivated hearing the whaling stories. There’s an ocean walkway that connects four beaches and ends up at the town. It’s fabulous! Each beach has its special something so don’t miss any of them. Take time to visit Bar One, the floating bar. We took a day trip on a trimaran to Mustique. Well worth getting out on the water and seeing this interesting island. We exchanged our US dollars to EC dollars and it made tipping easier. Other than that we used a credit card. Everyone was overly friendly and helpful wherever we went. The entire staff at the hotel are the best. I wish we could list all of the names! The two people that stand out the most in our hearts that we’d like to mention are Katie the general manager and Alex the tour/ transport guy. We’d like to say we’ll return one day. There’s so many places to explore in the world it’s difficult to say that we will. But we will always remember Bequia and Bequia Beach Hoel for an incredible trip. Thank you.

A beautiful piece of paradise with wonderfully helpful and kind staff. Rooms excellent and no request was too much. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was everything we wanted it to be. The hotel seems as though it has always been there as it blends into the landscape beautifully. Would highly recommend.
