Lovely Beach Hotel

The greeting you receive when you enter Bequia Beach let's you know right away that this is a very special place. We were so very warmly greeted, we felt like celebrities. The grounds are immaculate and the views are spectacular. The beach is perfect. The service at the restaurants was superb. The hotel is on a more secluded part of the island, but Bequia is very small so nothing is that far away. The Sand Bar which is the hotel's island style beach bar about 5 minutes walk down the beach. It was a great vibe and very relaxing with good music playing in the background. The room was comfortable with a traditional Caribbean energy. There's no TV which was surprising but refreshing. If you do want a TV just let them know in advance and they will bring it to your room. The property is huge but very quiet and cozy.

Classic Caribbean Hotel

We had a terrific two week stay at Bequia Beach Hotel (BBH). Our room, a waterfront suite, was, as advertised right on the beach. It was always clean and comfortable with a king sized bed, sitting area, big bathroom (two sinks) and a patio. Thank you Annamarie for keeping us stocked with all the amenities! The breakfast buffet was really good. Do not sleep on the banana bread! It did change to a regular breakfast our second week as the island started to slow down late in this season. Blue Tropic was very nice...Italian and always with a fish special. They make a killer bruschetta. Shout out to Neo (Employee of the Month winner while we were there) along with Rhea and all the other women who were all very sweet. There are three pools: the main pool is quite large with comfortable loungers, one up on the hill near the classic rooms and an infinity saltwater pool. Reuben and the pool gang will help you set up the umbrellas and bring you snacks and drinks. It would be nice if they made more rounds, but were always willing to jump up and help. And another shout out to Bastie at the bar...great bartender! Leisa and Rima (sp?) were very helpful getting us taxis to restaurants and monitoring my lost luggage (my bag went to Sydney (SYD) rather than St. Vincent (SVD). Also, wander down to the Sand Bar for lunch and sundowners...Beth took very good care of us. As is always the case, it's the people that make our stay most enjoyable and these were some of the best! Oh, and give Ellis (great island tour) and Alex (taxi driver) huge kudos for shuttling us to and fro! I am leaving out a whole slew of people for which I apologize for but, rest assured, we appreciated all of you.

Classic Charming Bequia Beach Hotel

From having to hastily change our destination because of the Middle East issues i can honestly say it was a fantastic choice. The welcome from our taxi at the tiny airport to a refreshing welcome at the resort. All perfect. I travelled with my pregnant daughter and when the resort knew of her pregnancy they were very kind and very caring. We had a lovely bungalow in the grounds where we had a relaxing terrace to watch the stars appear. Lovely food with themed nights during our stay. The shuttle service to Princess Margaret Bay was very efficient and good food at Jack's bar... the staff make your stay from the maid who cleaned our bungalow and arranged a special display with the towels and a bottle of wine for my birthday ...the sun was very intense make sure you take plenty of sun protection. The receptionist even supplied some aloe Vera after sun for my daughter. We hope to return one day with the "bambino" the reception want to meet !!...

Very very nice accommodations. The hospitality and the friendliness was wonderful. The greeted us as soon as we arrived at the ferry to the ride back to the ferry. Loved the beach with the umbrellas Lots of space to relax.

Wonderful stay

We stayed at this hotel Bequia Beach hotel with our children for a week from April 10th till 17th . The hotel is very nice, clean, with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly, smiling, and eager to help. They even got us some low-fat yogurt and medication in record time. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the drinks and cocktails were very well made. A special thank you to the general manager, Madame Floronique Patterson, for her professionalism and help with all matters. She was always ready to answer any questions and was extremely responsible. Thank you for a wonderful stay; we had a wonderful week at the hotel. We would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends! One small request: the waitresses at the Jack Bar could use a little more smiles and friendliness. The manager there is excellent, the beach boy Mitchi was super attentive, smiley and helpful, but some of the waitresses could use a little more effort.
