Blue Bay Platinum Hotel

From check in to check out 14 days beginning of April at this hotel was wonderful kettle coffee milk sugar and water all provided even toothbrush and paste and usual shower gel soaps etc Room smaller than we have been used to with 4 star hotels couple of complaints but was sorted within the hour reception staff first class too overlooking the pool seemed a good idea but ohhh the noise from the busted speaker as soon as entertainment started at 10 am all staff amazing cleaning staff 5star everywhere was spotless even with 3 days of rain great location to beach shops bars and restaurants looking at returning sept apart from bingo and kids club unclear if they have any other evening entertainment as we went out

Stayed here for 6 days, rooms were immaculate could not fault and the pillows were dreamy! Everyday we went to the relax pool which is for 16+ and Alex the barman made the holiday even better, always had a smiley face and before your beer glass was empty a fresh one appeared! Could not recommend enough! Snack bar food was also extremely good!

Recently been on a family holiday during the half term with 2 smaller children (4&9) honestly I'm doing this review for one of the restaurant staff to get the praise he deserves .. Orkan .. he was absolutely amazing, as soon as we walked into the restaurant he had a table with our drinks order on the way for us and made so much effort with our children. so thankyou! while I'm here I might as well share the rest of our experience as it wasn't the best - Hotel - Very clean, Modern and Lovely. Rooms - we didn't have the best start with our room as we originally got put in a room Where the air conditioning leaked all over my clothes and to look at wasn't the best... the plug sockets were hanging off the walls exposing the mains... same with one of the light switches ( we told reception and a man came and bashed it back into the wall and said.. "fixed" ), the paint was peeling from the walls, bedside lampshades were covered in what I think was splodges of purple nail varnish, the floor tiles were all smashed and altogether the room was just very underwhelming especially compared to the the rest of the hotel. we did go and talk to our TUI rep and After she talked to one of the managers we did get moved to a different room, I'm guessing the style room we go moved to were the newer style rooms and they are lovely, modern and couldn't fault them. when we were moved to our new room we wasn't provided with a blanket for one of the kids beds (the sofa) we asked reception around 6pm ish for a blanket for our little boy and they said they would bring it up, go back to our room around 10:30pm and still didn't have a blanket for him, so we asked again.. but we still didn't get one! so its now around 11ish and one of us had to sleep with a towel. woke up next day went through it all over again, asked in the morning went out for the day, got back nothing, asked again before dinner thinking they would take it this time but when we got back from the entertainment again around 10:30ish still Nothing..my husband had to go to reception again and ask! in the end we did get another blanket but it was a bit of a joke really. Restaurant (food) - I personally struggled here as did our kids, I found there was not a lot of choice for children so they pretty much ate chips all week as did myself. The kids had better choices at the snack bar, the chicken wraps from the snack bar thought were a favourite for our family. Pools - there are multiple pools to choose from including a kids pool next to the slides a lot of the pools were 1.50m and the kids pool was 40cm, but all of them are ABSOLUTELY FREEZING, no of us went in because of how cold they were and that not exactly any fault to the hotel, we did go to the indoor pool but as the pools outside are as cold as they are the indoor pool was VERY busy. they pool staff are amazing and kept everything Very clean, there is always someone around making sure there was no food left around the pools, same with cups and plates and they were all lovely. Entertainment - Very good, we all enjoyed it, there was kids mini disco, acrobatics, salsa dancers, karaoke and bingo. altogether the night entertainment was good. The area the hotel is in is great, there's shops all around, a migros just up the road with a McDonalds.

Food very good loads of options. Very good pools. Staff Very good do anything for you. Very good bar maid called ozlem will get you drinks anytime. Very happy and chatty. She always has a smile for you. Always happy to help are all the staff especially bar maid ozlem.

Best place Eva for children my daughter was treated like there own Yasmin and willma amazing ladies with hearts of gold and also gives parents chance to relax and catch sun been coming to this place for 3 years 3 times a year twice a year with my 5 kids and I can not thank everyone enough for making us feel so welcome and at home
