We were really disappointed with our recent experience at Blue Beach Tower in JBR, Dubai. We had booked a 6-night stay from May 30 to June 6, and even received a confirmation email on May 28 confirming our full stay. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to be informed at reception that the hotel would be closing for renovation starting June 1st, just two days into our stay. We had no prior notice of this, and were told on the spot that we could either leave immediately or stay until June 1 and then check out early. While the manager was polite, he was ultimately not helpful in resolving the issue. We were told a refund was due for the nights we wouldn't be staying, but now over a week has passed, and we have heard nothing back. This experience was incredibly frustrating and poorly handled. We expected better communication and service from a hotel in such a prime location. We won’t be returning.
