I took my partner too th hotel for her birthday Straight away was disappointed we had booked a garden room but the fire issue the patio door onto the garden had no handle.we reported to reception and it was as thou they didn’t believe us. Maria on desk said to us the only way they would change our room is if a member of staff was unable to open the door then we could be moved so we went up the hid with the porter and he wasn’t able to open the door so we was given another room which was very nice and had its own shared pool. So we dumped our bags and headed to the restaurant. There was issues. Plastic cups for drinks 4* not Cigarette ends in outside bbq at restaurants exit door too beach absolutely full where ashtrays were emptied into outdoor bbq. Cocktail bar serves horrible draft cocktails. Daytime snacks horrible sandwiches. Steps broken going down to the beach As the holiday went on we had a strong smell of sewerage in the room we mentioned it too the cleaner and she lifted the floor vents/drain in bathroom and placed a towel and put vent back over. Persevered with the smell but was too much so reported to the receptionist they sent maintenance guy but the smell consisted. The bathroom was a state Black mold leaking sink mold on shower curtain toxic fumes filling the bungalow it was awful. We reported our concerns with thomascook before departure and also filled full complaint it has taken weeks for a response on which the hotel said the door worked in the first room and that we had not reported the stench this was all lies We also reported to ABTTA which they have now advised us to start court proceedings. We have been very disappointed that Thomas cook have been unable too request some sort of compensation for our holiday. We sent additional photos of all the issues but still fobbed off This hotel is 2 star not 4*

Its more of a question for the hotel, if they answer, how can you be right on the beach yet charge for sun loungers and beach bar, surely that should be included in the price bearing in mind that most people say its a trek up the hill? Thanks.

I am so undecided about what to write as there’s some very good points, and some terrible points to this hotel. Upper pool bar is lovely, if you can manage the hill!!!! It’s horrible!!! Uneven ground and VERY steep!! We were initially put in a room right up the hill, had a miserable first two days because of this! The pool bar is the only bonus. You can request a lift up the hill but the car is rarely there. We eventually got moved down the hill which was a big improvement. The rooms are nice but you get a kettle but no tea/coffee. The shower has the most ridiculous shower screen so the floor gets soaking wet. The rooms are only cleaned every 3 days. There is little to do at the hotel. You really need to hire a car. There is a room tax to pay IN CASH on arrival which we didn’t know about, they direct you to use a cash machine (which thankfully is contactless as we didn’t bring bank cards) but it charges £4.95 to use it! Most staff are helpful and friendly. It’s right by the beach which is nice. We’d not bother to visit again as there’s definitely better out there for the same money but it was ok for a very quiet holiday
