Upon check in, there were no amenities in the room AT ALL except for the towels. We called reception for the missing amenities, however, nobody understood us. Housekeeping have to go back n forth a few times to get the amenities right which is appalling bc the amenities should’ve been in our room upon check in and mind you, we book the highest category room and there were NO apologies from the reception nor the housekeeping. Also, the upkeep of the room is worn out and the slippers are not disposable. ( there were sands in the slippers) The reception team was not hospitable at all. We called to change the pillow covers as there were stains but they told us to wait till the next day as they ran out of pillows?????? so i have to sleep with dirty pillows until tomorrow??? They only provide us new pillows after we sounded displeased and again, no apologies from them. Upon check out, there were no greetings and when we wanted to pay our incidentals with cards, they kept repeating “cash only” and “there’s an atm outside the hotel”with an annoyed face and tone. Is this a cash only hotel? why was this not mentioned during check in or are they just lazy to open cashier? The only staff that is worth mentioning is Baw from concierge. He’s the most friendly guy in the hotel, greeting us whenever we leave and come back to the hotel, even making the effort to make small talks with us. Perhaps the reception team should learn from him instead:) Overall, the reception team needs to go for customer service training and do better as all of them sucks at hospitality.
