One of the best cabin hotel experiences i have ever had so far. First and the foremost, the scenery surrounding the cabin area is spectacular! The hotel is perched on a cliff overseeing Lake Batur and Mount Batur. The cabin is small and cute, but super comfort. Air conditioning is cool and good. Room layout design js super minimalist but comfortable. The bed is positioned just by the window with direct view toward the lake and the mount below. Food service is minimalist, don't expect live kitchen like in city hotel here, because the logistical barrier to establish such a service will costs customer a lot in cabin price. Still, we can order frozen food which they will heat or we can directly Barbecue on our own on the personal grilling pit located just outside the cabin. Indah, the front office staff is super friendly, genuine, and helpful. The downside is that the access to this edge of the cliff, is not usual. It's almost like a "dirt trail" thing. But it is okay , since the spectacular scenery rewards the difficult access to the place. Another downside is the house flies. The flies are not the problem unique only to this hotel. All hotels/cabins in the lake area have this flies problem too, i hope Bobocabin can put more "Pest Control" effort to deal with this flies problem. Their current pest control measure is installing mosquito/fly screen on every door, which is enough to prevent any fliy entering the room, but still can be improved. When we leave the mosquito screen open for too long, the flies will enter and accumulate in the room. I definitely will come back to this place and recommend to other people. Extra note: Joko the cat, who is the front office manager is super cute too. Beware, don't be naughty, or Joko will want you to scratch his neck and back.
