Incredible property and service

Our experience at Canaves Epitome was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is stunning - beautifully designed rooms with sweeping views, but what truly sets it apart is the outstanding service. From start to finish, the staff took care of us every step of the way. They were warm, responsive, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. It’s hands-down some of the best service we’ve ever received anywhere. In fact, we were so impressed that we actually changed our return itinerary just so we could come back and stay again for two nights. If that doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what does. We’ll never stay anywhere else in Santorini. One tip for future guests: if you have your heart set on a specific room you’ve seen online, be sure to clearly request it when booking, as room layouts can vary. Highly recommended - Canaves Epitome is truly in a league of its own.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Views, Food, Service!

This really is a remarkable hotel. While it’s dar from cheap it’s worth every penny. The rooms are amazing either great views, plunge pools and great features like huge showers and fine toiletries. The restaurant is really good and I really recommend the breakfast by the main pool in the morning. There’s a gym and spa as well. Close to town with a free shuttle bus but walkable if you are careful and avoid the crazy drivers.

Luxury in Oia

The villa we stayed in was perfect for 2 adults and three adult children. We had a private plunge pool and we all enjoyed that! We felt that we couldn't stay at our room all day so headed up to the main pool by the restaurant This pool was also so nice and relaxing and we didn't have to fight to find a spot for the 5 of us. I'm glad we were there in May because it wasn't too hot to sit outside all day. But the tradeoff was that the pool was unheated and felt a little cold. There is pool side drinks, snacks and lunch available. Breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious! There is a free hotel shuttle that took us in to Oia which was so convenient. Concierge was helpful with all details for our stay. The only complaint we had was that the mattress of the twin bed in the villa was very uncomfortable--it was too firm. Housekeeping did try to give us another mattress topper but it didn't really help. I would totally stay there again!

Best 5 Star Hotel on Santorini

One of the best hotels, if not the best in Oia, Santorini! The sunsets were beyond explanation and totally beautiful! The staff were so welcoming, from the welcome drink to providing us with recommendations for an evening dinner cruise, dinner at one of their sister properties which offered a Caldera view as well as a day trip of the island. From the moment you step into the property, the staff is welcoming and respectful! This is truly a 5 Star experience you will never forget!

Well, let's cut to it: Trip/experience of a lifetime. Easily the best we've experienced. Rooms: Exceptional in every way Atmosphere: Exceptional, views are breathtaking, especially sunsets Value: Pricey, but worth every penny Service: Second to none. Staff helpful, service-oriented, friendly, wonderful. Super clean. Continual, exacting maintenance and upkeep. Location: In a quiet part of the island, yet highly accessible to town, and the sunsets are one of a kind. In sum: It is emblematic of its name -- The Epitome of properties and experience.
