A Truly Unforgettable Experience at Canaves Oia Suites

Our stay at Canaves Oia Suites was, without a doubt, the best experience of our lives. I planned a surprise proposal for my now fiancée on the property, and everything was absolutely perfect. A special thanks to Margarita, the events coordinator, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process and especially flexible on the day of the proposal when we had to make some last-minute changes. Her support made the moment even more special. The entire staff went above and beyond. You can genuinely feel how much effort they put into getting to know each guest and their unique reason for visiting. Their attention to detail and hospitality made us feel truly valued. The views from every part of the property are breathtaking, and we were able to capture stunning photos together during our stay. We especially loved our room at the bottom of the property—it felt private, peaceful, and still offered those iconic Oia views. Just a note for future guests: the property does have quite a few steps (as do most places along the south cliffs of Oia), so if that’s a concern, it’s worth speaking with the staff about a room higher up. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition—they visited our room multiple times a day to keep everything spotless and well-stocked with towels, water, and anything else we needed. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to include heavier weights in the gym for those who like a more intense workout. We are so grateful for everything and already dreaming about returning for our honeymoon or anniversary. Thank you, Canaves Oia Suites, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime.

The services from arrival to departure was all five star. Friendly staff , beautiful property, delicious food. It’s the full package of five star excellence. The front desk staff made us feel welcome Immediately and the wait staff at the pool and restaurant were always two steps ahead of our needs. And always with a smile

A recommended boutique hotel in Santorini

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the Oia bus station. The view from the rooms directly faces the sea and is really beautiful. The hotel staff are very nice and have a strong sense of initiative in providing services. The scenery at the poolside restaurant is extremely beautiful, and the food there tastes excellent.

Excellent location, service, and food. The rooms could not have been nicer and very clean. QUIET! The staff was amazing at assisting you anything required. Highly recommend Oia over Fira to avoid the cruise ship chaos. Very convenient to tax stand, great restaurants and the main strip. Plan on eating every breakfast at the hotel as it is amazing.

From check in to check out our whole stay was beyond exceptional and we really did not want to leave. The location and the views are beauty personified, our room (pool site) was an absolute delight and it was difficult to leave and go and explore the wonderful island of Santorini, the choice of food at breakfast which was all freshly cooked to order, the cocktails, I could go on. But what makes this place beyond special is all the staff. They seemed to anticipate what we wanted before we did and yet were never intrusive. Friendly, engaging and always went above and beyond. As we said to the manager on our departure, just keep on doing what you are doing because there is nothing you can improve upon, our whole experience has been beyond phenomenal and we can’t wait to return! Thank you for making our stay so very special.
