Good relaxing hotel, not on the beach

We were there for a few days to relax after a week exploring Quintana Roo and Yucatan. The hotel is not on the beach, but from our fifth floor room you could see the ocean. I'm not fond of the burnt scent of the "charcoal" toiletries, but I carry my own. The doorman had the most cheerful attitude that sent us off with a smile each day as we set off. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. I appreciated their willingness to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout and before we left for the airport. Sadly there's a slight breakdown in communication between front desk and housekeeping. I was able to get the extra coffee pods and towel when I asked housekeeping directly, but that was several hours after I'd asked through the front desk. The location is ideal for shopping at the La Isla outdoor shopping mall next door. We wandered over for dinner each of the days we were there.

Anniversary outing in Cancun

My wife and I went here for an anniversary trip. The hotel and the staff are exemplary . They took really really good care of us. The restaurant in the hotel is a bit slow and they have a very basic menu . The restaurant on the rooftop is a great experience if you are looking for bar food you won't be disappointed. Now we will be remiss if we didn't get special note to the staff by name: Carlos , Ivan , Adrian , Aaron , and we can't forget the massage therapist Lydia! She was absolutely amazing and you get your full money's worth in the time spent with her! They were all over accommodating and super friendly. Just a note this is more of a business Travelers experience . The hotel is nice enough for a general vacation. The other cool thing about it is it's about a 13 minute walk from the beach if you have an inclination to go. But on the back end of the hotel is a humongous mall with all of the upscale accoutrements that one could ask for including Prada , Gucci YSL.

Wonderful massage by Lidia

I am writing a reviews specifically for the spa. Lidia was the masseuse at the spa and provided excellent service. We booked her for two 50 minutes spas. She was able to work through the tightness of my muscles in my shoulders. I also have a muscle strain in my knee which posed no problems during the massage. I would highly recommend taking time to have a massage done while you stay at this property. Lydia was an absolute joy!

Great time for a short stay

Nice location. Great time for a short stay. Maybe better for adults than family but my 10 years old was welcomed and we had no issue. Nice location. Close to the airport and walking distance from a shopping center with restaurants and entertainment. Food was good - we prefer the lobby restaurant to the rooftop option. Breakfast buffet was very good. Thanks to Yohandra for her lovely service at the lobby restaurant for the evening service. Pool/rooftop area was nice but busy and loud Saturday afternoon. Very clean and nicely decorated hotel. Would go back without hesitation for a short stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was clean and well-decorated. Views from every window in the hotel were fantastic. Rooms need coffeemakers. Breakfast was overpriced for what was served, in my opinion. The rooftop pool is amazing! The views from up there are incredible and there is plenty of seating in shade or sun. Carlos was a huge help to us while we were there! He answered all of our questions thoroughly and made great recommendations.
