Caribe Deluxe Princess

Yency was very entertaining, and friendly....food was great at Tao Restaurant... I Will be back!

I travelled to Caribe on 18 Feb 2026 until 26 Feb 2026. The bus transfer was included with WestJet, since I missed my first bus, the WestJet group at the Punta Cana Airport was helpful in getting me on the next bus to the resort. On arriving, check in was fine since I was late arriving but in saying that, my room key did not work not once, twice but three times which left me going back to the front desk three times. On speaking with front desk staff reference this issue and that my patio door did not lock on 2nd floor #2219, was told by staff I could not change rooms and only one to change rooms was the manager which is on until 10:30 p.m. so eventually on speaking with the female asian manager, she got maintenance to fix the patio door and my room key finally worked. Now the room is 10 minutes away from the main desk, luckly there are golf carts that go constantly back and forth on the property so you do not have to walk even in the heat if you wish not to do so. Once settled, room AC worked but you cannot adjust it no controls to do so, tv worked fine with lost of spanish channels and odd english channels, hot water in sinks and stand up shower. Bathroom is very small but you cannot flush any paper down the toilet so it goes in a garbage can so if you do not like this idea and the bathroom is small so a bigger peron their legs be touching the walls unless some rooms have bigger bathrooms idk so. Great thing however where Building B is that buffet is right beside it, swim up bar, and pool beside beach bar is on opposite side of building and beach plus towel building is all in same area. Now negative thing is in my opinion where the pool is swim up bar not many chairs as space is limited here and even beingb there , wasnt many people in the pools but chairs around swim up pool all had towels on them. other pool on opposite side more space but I did not see many chairs there either unless you request them through check in desk? I found far as food concerned, french fries cold always and too tough not soft or crispy, chisken bit tough and dry, however deep fried fish was good, never tried the burgers or hotdogs. Breakfast was fine even the omelettes. One thing no water to serve yourself, you have to wait fro staff to serve water at buffet, but snack bar you can serve yourself and food available until 10:30 p.m. Drinks can be strong unless you tell staff otherwise, but there is some language barrier at the lobby bar and mixed drinks were even to strong for my liking , I had to turn away some drinks and order again. Nice if you have a translator on your phone or can speak spanish. Workers well say hello , some dont but some do. The entertainment theater but near the check-in desk is not near the rooms so it is easy to sleep with no noise. The entertainment was nightly but mostly dancing. The circus show was cool , a performer lift a guy up on his head while the guy was standing on his head, such strength. The 70s dancing near the lobby bar was great as tourist joined in behind performers dressed in 70s outfits but only lasted 20 mins but should lasted 30 to 40 mis easy as ones on stage were enjoying themselves. They then had a contest after at night which in my opinion by lobby bar should be earlier in night not later at 10:30 pm to 11 p.m. my opinion. I did do two excursions which was the sea trek which included snorkling and swimming over stingrays and small nurse sharks. Now the sea trek with helmet with the air flowing from above, well water can get into your helmet which happened to me and you go down about 14 feet which I had to keep unclogging my ears for pressure and on that I only went so far and went back as I felt I had to tilt my head back to stop water from flowing in and going up the ladder , the helmet lifts you up so I had to hold myself each step to stop pressure and myself from ascending too fast, I did not care for it but once in the water the helmet is not heavy just annoying to keep water out, I did not enjoy it. My other excursion was the water park, but you only get 20 mins on the jet ski and a tiny zipline across a small pond, was ok but if you never been on jet ski before be worth trying. Now there was some rain but not enough to ruin the trip. This resort has bit wildlife though from fish, turtles, flamingos, ducks, crane, iguana. Only down side was I started to get bit on the legs, left arm and couple bits on my stomach from something. No see ems maybe idk as I rarely went to the beach, spent most time in pool. I talked to front desk staff and told they spray resort once a week, which they should be spraying 2 to 3 times per week, even in the rooms as I do not know where or when I got the bites. Overall, was it a relaxing time at this resort, yes it was very relaxing. I would recommend. But I did pick up the travellers bug, first day I was fine then I was sick for 6 days straight and it is contagious but Idk where I got it, I been on many trips and this was first time getting this. Could have been from the bug bites idk that either.

Walley, Jhon and Wellington been perfect bar tenders on the main pool bar. Nice service, smile and care, theses guys know what they are doing!+++🙂

The Caribe Deluxe Princess is a pleasant all inclusive resort on a shared property with the Tropical Deluxe Princess (including a French option of perks with Club Framissima). Guests have privileges at both resorts which provide a variety of spaces, 3 pools, multiple restaurants, and activities for both families and the Gen Y and Gen Z clientele. A la carte restaurants provide freshly prepared meals with tasty specialty cultural experiences and we particularly enjoyed Fogo (the Brazilian restaurant) and Tao (the Japanese, Teppanyaki restaurant). We missed having fresh juices while we were there, but we chose this resort for its many options and for its sandy beach (note: March winds can make the ocean a little rough). The kids pool and water park are great for young children and there is a special centre where teens can hang out and play pool or a variety of games, learn archery, play ping pong or bocce, etc. Adults without children may prefer the pool with the vibrant, Caribbean music and swim up bar. Maintenance crews were always working to keep up with repairs (fixing pathways, grooming the grounds, painting, etc.). Almost all staff speak multiple languages and they are always friendly, available, and happy to help make your stay pleasant and comfortable. We recommend confirming the location of your room when you check in (eg. Ask about the view, floor level - there are no elevators, and if the room overlooks a noisy bar or pool). We have to give a special mention to Yafaira at reception who was especially pleasant and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Thank you, Yafaira! You are very professional and a great asset to the resort. Special note about the Sunwing/Nexus transfer from the airport: the Nexus/Sunwing shuttle to this resort included stops at 2-3 other resorts. This resort was close to the last stop. It took us 2.5 hours of waiting and travel time to get to the resort after we had exited the airport. The direct trip is only 30 minutes. Next time, we will book a 30 minute, direct taxi ride for $40 (USD).

Great time with the family Especially want to mention Soribel from the Japanese restaurant that was very helpful dealing with our allergies and made our time and experience awesome!!!! Thank you Soribel!!!
