Was there for one night, paid 750 pesos after some haggling for a single room. Bed was clean, water was running, toiled was flushing, location was great. Other than that there are no reasons to stay in either this hotel or Samaná city
… Show more other than for the whale watching. Great location comes with loud motorcycles on the street starting 5am. Staff was rude (she asked for 200 Pesos "tip" when I checked out) and folks were drinking upfront. The elderly guy was actually nice in the evening and offered me to put my motorcycle in the backyard. Only problem was that by the next morning they were reconstructing the entrance to the backyard and five guys had to help me carry the big machine through mud and open canalisation - Dominican Republic, live ;-).
