We’ll miss you Do Not Pet! Sergio is the best! :)

I had a wonderful stay at Ahua. I felt well cared for. The entire property has sandy paths and they do a very good job to keep sand out of the rooms. During my stay it was very warm and windy. Unfortunately there was lots of seaweed on the beach which which they manage as well as they can. The beach lounge chairs are awesome, queen-sized, so my sister and I would lay together and read for hours by the water. Breakfast every morning was delicious, a fruit plate to start and then a choice of eggs any way you’d like or pancakes or chilaquillas. Incredibly friendly staff, Sergio served our daily breakfast and had nicknames for me and my family haha. I was bambino and my sister was Annita. Incredible views from the restaurant. A small plunge pool was perfect to cool off without getting sandy. Very calm ambiance except for the neighboring beach club music. Seems to be unavoidable when staying in Tulum. Thankfully the Ahua property was quiet late at night. The dog is super cute we call him Do Not Pet because her collar says not to pet him. We were able to pet her when he allowed but otherwise we let her be.

Ahau resort was an ideal get away for our family for a long weekend in June. Relaxing spa-like music is played over the speaker system creating a nice vibe. My kids thought it was like we were in the White Lotus series, but fortunately no one died during our stay. Food was excellent, we had breakfast included with our room, and they served generous plates of fruits and choices of eggs etc. Sergio, our main server for breakfast every morning was a real highlight. His friendly demeanor was so welcoming and he remembered our names and what we liked to eat. Rooms were very nice, service was excellent. Like many of the resorts in this area along the beach, the architecture and design of the property has a rustic/jungle-feel. Over all we had a very positive experience. A couple negative things to mention: there was a ton (many tons actually) of seaweed on the beach and apparently this is just a common problem along this whole coast of Mexico during this time of the season. And this particular area is a bit of a “party town” so there is some deep bass thumping music that you will hear at night coming from neighboring resorts.

Super cozy stay with fantastic atmosphere. The view from our room was incredible and the staff was very welcoming. Shout out to Sergio, our wonderful waiter!

Beautiful property on the water with clean comfortable rooms and friendly service. We loved the incl. breakfast and seeing our friendly server, Sergio, every morning. You can sign up for a tour through the property. We had a car, valet avail.

The most relaxed I think I have ever been, every single one of my needs or requests was instantly taken care of. Beautiful ocean scenery, great sun, delicious food, everything I could want. Sergio specifically was amazing. He was funny, nice, attentive, and took care of my every need!
