One of my least favorite beach trips

Cancel all trips coming to @rivierameya. You cannot use the ocean because of the sargassum. They closed the buffet at night. Less amenitities than the last 2 years. Staff is still excellent except Yessica at the oceanside restaurant. Food is middle of the road. This resort was better the first 2 times we stayed. Again, the sea is currently unusable because of the sargassum.

We had an amazing holiday at Catalonia Royal Tulum. The entire team is absolutely amazing, but a big shout out to Diego, Eddie, Paulina, Leo and Cuellar. They were all fantastic and looked after us so well. X

Amazing time!

Had an amazing stay at this resort! The entire experience was beautiful from start to finish — great atmosphere, food, drinks, entertainment, and the staff truly made us feel welcomed the whole time. A special shoutout to Ruben, who went above and beyond for me and my group of friends. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, helped us with all of our bags, and even gave us a full tour of the resort on the golf cart so we could get familiar with everything. His energy, professionalism, and kindness really stood out and made our first impression unforgettable. Ruben genuinely made us feel taken care of throughout our stay, and employees like him are a huge reason why guests want to come back. Management should definitely recognize him — he deserves it! Thank you again, Ruben, for making our trip even better.

It is surrounded by native jungle trees, local plants, mangroves and cenotes - water springs where a diverse variety of flora and fauna can be found in an unspoiled habitat.
