Official Description

Kaleici has the most beautiful examples of Antalya Houses and structures from Roman, Seljuk, Ottoman and Republic eras. Cedrus Hotel is one of the Republic Era Kaleici Houses.The building is estimated to have been in the late 19th century. The first owner of the mansion Tevfik Isık was the person who set up the first power plant in Antalya at the request of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who then gave this mansion to Tevfik Isık and his family as a gift. Before becoming a hotel, the building was used as a museum.The hotel is located right next to the historical Broken Minaret (Kesik Minare) and the Hidirlik Tower and Harian's Gate is only a couple minutes' walk away. The hotel is approximately 600m from the marina and 11 km from the Antalya International Airport.The mansion has been restored to its original in 2019 and since then it has been operating as a hotel with its 10 rooms.

Spacious apartment, gracious hosts, welcoming cats.

After a disappointing hotel booking on arrival at Antalya, we were on the street looking for new accommodation at 9 am. We were so fortunate that the Cedrus Hotel was in sight as we left our other accommodation. The owner was at reception, warmly welcomed us, and offered us their three-bedroom apartment for the next four nights at a reasonable, last-minute rate. This was to be one of the best accommodation options of our trip, as the apartment was amazing. Spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, and so well located. We were able to take a breath, spread out, relax in the apartment's many spaces, and enjoy the amenities of a 'home away from home'. All hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious (especially the jams) and generous, and the hotel's cats just made the stay even more special. I can't recommend this hotel enough if you want a stress-free stay in Antalya's old town.

Don’t want to leave!

An absolute gem of a boutique hotel in old town Kaleici. Fantastic location round the corner from tons of bars, restaurants, cafes and the viewing points across the sea to the mountains. The hotel is cute, rustic and beautifully decorated. It’s a family run hotel and the owner Levent can’t do enough for his guests. All the staff are amazing and so friendly. The breakfast was simple but wonderfully fresh and plentiful. Recommend 👍 Honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

Cozy atmosphere

Great, cozy hotel. It is pleasant to be there, a feeling of home after everyday work. Very kind staff, especially Levent, helps to arrange everything and recommends the best options to make the time spent here a success. It is located 600 meters from the paid beach, but nearby there is a rocky beach for free.
