Excellent choice for north chaweng

Loved Chaba! We stayed in the Family Suite (2 adults, 2 kids 9 and 5 years) which was massive. Breakfast was excellent, pool was great and beach was lovely. The customer service here is outstanding, it felt genuine and warm and the wonderful Jampen by the pool was an absolute delight. S the Operations Manager was incredible, friendly and so welcoming. All staff were just A1. The massage by the pool was excellent too. Could not really fault this place. Really easy to get into the middle of Chaweng on foot road side (be prepared for a couple of steep hills which you can’t escape in Koh Samui), catch a tuk tuk (more expensive than we remembered but loved kicking around in them) or walk along the beach (when high tide you’ll need to wade through the water for a bit, which might be challenging but in day time it’s fine). It’s Koh Samui - hills and stairs dominate so be aware if this is an issue. Our room was on the 3rd floor, manageable but happy to have a break from those stairs 🥴 Lots of rooms on ground level too so options for everyone. But a lovely place to stay. Our room was closer to reception which the street noise was loud so if you’re a light sleeper, this might be an issue but no problems for us although we did notice it. Great car rental guy at top of road, and a few restaurants close by where the food was fab. Khao Kate being one, and the one on opposite side of the road. Really enjoyed being what it seemed the mid-point between Chaweng and Fisherman’s Village - all very easy to get to. Happy to have booked Chaba Cabana :)

Small but personal hotel experience

Had a lovely 3 week stay at the chaba cabana. Perfectly situated in chewang with great restaurants, bars and shops locally , but still with easy access to central Samui . Hotel staff on the whole were very friendly and accommodating, the members of staff who gave exceptional service, were Jampen at poolside who is an absolute credit to this hotel, and could not do enough for every single guest, he is an absolute star, we’d also like to mention Chloe at reception who was so friendly and helpful during our stay, and the ever hard working Joy the gardener. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would definitely return. The only reason we have dropped a star as breakfasts were very repetitive, fruit selection was the same 3 fruits every day, on saying that you could always find something for breakfast. Also could do with a freshening up with paintwork. Thank you to all at Chaba Cabana for a fabulous holiday. Julie and Karen room 226

Chaba Canana Resort, Koh Samui is fabulous!

Chaba Cabana Resort is fabulous! This Is our 4th visit to this fab place. Location is great, right on a white sandy beach. Town is a short stroll away along the beach. The rooms are very clean, well maintained and have everything you will need. Breakfast food is Plentiful and bar drink prices are very reasonable. The staff are just wonderful! So friendly and warm they all hugged us on our return! Cannot recommend this Resort highly enough! Heaven! A real true holiday gem ❤️❤️

Simply the beat on Koh Samui!

Admin staff so helpful (Anne in Reservations) and all general so happy to help getting our booking for March 2026. We were so welcomed by Staff on arrival, felt like family coming home. Bow is awesome poolside, Fern, Ping and the great team and the Reception team are just so welcoming. Went on a half island tour today and saw where others were staying - sorry! Chaba is the best! We are on the beach, walking distance to town and great place to stay. All well we’l be back for a 5th time next year after our trips to Bali and Fiji!
