Cinnamon Citadel Kandy

Lovely mid sized 4 & 5 star hotel. Perfect place for a short stopover on our tour. We stayed for two nights B&B although we did eat in the Al al Carte restaurant in the evenings which was excellent, quite and better suited for us. Special mention to Chinthaka, Dinoshan, Sahan, Hasini and Rukmal the bar team, thanks for looking after us.

We stayed at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy for Two Nights in September to celebrate my Husband's Birthday, for my request they arranged a Surprise Birthday cake with deco. Highly appreciate the service they given. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views overlooking the River and the Hills of Kandy. The pool area is also very attractive and relaxing, while the Deluxe Room with balcony facing to river view was spacious, clean, comfortable and had all the facilities, well-maintained. The Buffet for Breakfast, Dinner and Lunch was absolutely delicious, with a good variety of dishes to enjoy. We loved their foods. The flavors were varied Overall, a memorable experience. Highly recommended. When we were there for dessert, a person was looking at the flaws. He understood our needs. We had a lovely conversations, got to know each others. Surprisingly, in a short time, he was near our table with our requiremet.The person behind this is Chef Ranga, Thank you very much for everything and we didn't expect this type of service. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Panorama staff, including Madushanka and Sasi, who provided us with excellent service and hospitality during our stay. We enjoyed our vacation, it's been a very relaxing and memorable stay with your Love and Smile, everything was beyond expectations, that's because of the Family of Cinnamon Citadel Kandy. Beautiful riverside hotel with spacious rooms, a lovely pool, and great food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with my wheelchair. ❤️ A peaceful retreat just outside Kandy city – highly recommended!

I would like to share my experience with the dinner buffet here. Over all the food is variety and delicious. The most impressive is the salad station in charge by Chef Ranga and Shazni. They are very welcoming and considerate. We ordered salad for a few times with them, each and every time they made the salad bowl look very nice and presentable, very clean, fresh and tasty. They made my stay even better. Thank you so much.

I food was amazing and worth the money. I really wanna specify the salad station the chefs Ranga and shazni they made the dining experience better. I might have ordered the salad more than thrice but every time it was exceptional. These kind of staffs should be appreciated by the company. Thank you everyone for the beautiful hospitality.
