FOOD The main buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options. The salad bar was excellent; if you are a vegan or vegetarian traveler, you can easily eat "nice and clean" all week. They also provided oat and soy milk. Breakfast was our personal favourite with the selection of fresh pastries. Everything felt high-quality and tasted lovely. Between 12:30–16:00, a snack bar by the main pool offered fried chicken, chips, and another great salad bar. Additionally, a selection of complimentary ice creams and lollies was available from 16:00–18:00. DRINKS There was an eclectic choice of cocktails, including mocktails for the kids. Hot drinks were available all day from a self-service machine. While there was a branded Starbucks machine onsite, the bar staff didn't seem fully trained on it. It felt a bit awkward paying for a coffee that seemed no better than the free versions you could make yourself. There were fridges stacked with cold plastic cartons of water and cold bottled water was provided at every meal. You also got bottled water in the room. LOCATION The hotel is approximately 1.5 hours from the airport. I highly recommend booking a private transfer; we spoke to other guests whose shared transfer took 3.5 hours! The beach and a few local shops are within easy walking distance, though the onsite shops are sufficient for most needs. There were no hills and everything was easy to get to and walk around. ATMOSPHERE Due to the time of year and recent world events, the atmosphere was a bit unusual. It was busy in the evenings, but felt like a bit of a "ghost town" during the day. We actually preferred the smaller crowds, but it did slightly dampen the overall "buzz" of the resort. ROOM We stayed in a family duplex in the main building. It was exactly as described, and we were pleased to receive the specific view we requested. The room was kept clean throughout our stay. However, we had two mini-fridges and neither worked, leaving the complimentary fizzy drinks lukewarm. The air conditioning was also underwhelming, though this wasn't a major issue as the weather wasn't too hot. CLEANLINESS Overall, the hotel was extremely well-maintained. The housekeeping staff worked day and night polishing and mopping the floors. My only complaint was a persistent, unpleasant smell of cat litter/waste in many of the common areas. This was due to a number of stray kitties residing at the resort. FACILITIES The onsite shops and supermarkets were well-stocked with everything you might need. Everything is priced in Euros, so I recommend bringing that currency with you. The pools were fantastic—crystal clear and well-maintained—and the aqua park was great fun. There were always plenty of sun loungers available (likely due to the quiet season), and cushions were laid out every morning. There was also an indoor pool, steam and sauna, and hammam baths. The Wi-Fi was free and had good connectivity. There was a small out-dated fun fair which would be good for smal children. Nothing too exhilarating. 😂 SERVICE I cannot fault the service. The staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and polite, constantly ensuring that we were enjoying our stay. ENTERTAINMENT The evening entertainment was a highlight. We enjoyed DJs, live bands, singers, comedy, magicians, and belly dancing. They also hosted a "Turkish Night" showcasing traditional dance and culture. For those wanting to keep the party going, the 16+ nightclub was a fun way to end the night. VALUE & OVERALL While I would rate this as a high-end 3-star or a 4-star hotel rather than a true 5-star, it represents excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a fun-packed, family-friendly holiday. You certainly won't be bored, and you'll come home with many wonderful memories! 😊
