We've just got back from a fantastic week here. As a person with limited mobility I struggle to walk more than 25 metres at a time. I'm giving my review with this in mind as I couldnt find any other information when I booked and looked. When we arrived after contacting several small company's about hiring a mobility scooter it wasn't possible. When we arrived we had a letter in reception from a rep called Abdullah he was very funny and helpful and explained because of the way people drive over there you'd be seen as a bad driver and it would be dangerous to use one he also advised us about some of the common scams and how to stay safe, helped us with booking a suitable excursion due to my limitations. With that said businesses and excursions offer free pick up and drop off services. We had a ground floor room 2103 our niece got stuck in the bathroom and after ringing 0 they were so quick to come and help her out. You can see from the photos the room was clean and big with plenty of storage. Theres lots of places to sit and rest when moving around site. The Turkish food is lovely when you first arrive by the end of the week though it all kind of tastes the same even with the huge variety they use alot of mint and coriander even in salads again very beautiful presented well and all salad is washed with bottled water and ice made with bottled water, the pool bar was fresh fruit salad veg, pastries, pasta and spaghetti, chicken bugers, burgers, wraps, muffins/breadbuns, french fries, meatballs. Self serve machines for Fruit juices a milk machine and and alcohol bar. Bottled water is also provided in your room if you dont want house keeping put your bottle on the doorstep and they'll replace your empty bottle for you. The entertainment we arrived late Wednesday night so didn't see anything on Wednesday on Thursday they had their turkish night and it was really good, friday they had a modern dance show, saturday we missed as you needed tickets to the beach party and we weren't sure where it was held at despite asking still didnt find out. Sunday we had an earlier night. Monday night they had a rodeo bull which wasn't the best for us, Tuesday was just kids disco from the looks of the board so we decided to go out for the evening via blue shark see my other post. Going to the entertainment and getting a drink wouldn't have been possible if I'd have travelled alone as I use crutches and the was was to far from the entertainment that said the bar staff probably would have carried it for me but I'd have needed several rests on the way there and the way back to the entertainment. Ra-keep behind the bar was always so lovely and a pleasure he personally greeted us on arrival and popped out to see us before we came home. My youngest daughter had 2 pink braids done at the hairdressers on site for 7 euros each so 14 euro all together. Drinks after 11pm are chargeable our coffee cost 2 euro each after 11pm but you can take coffee and a milk substitute with you theres a kettle in the room and bottled water you can refill with water at the self serve juice machines they have water in too. We also vape and it was accepted in any of the smoking areas in places we visited the only thing is you cant buy it from then. We were rudely woken one night by a group of men carrying on outside our room they didnt speak English but it didnt seem friendly at all it made us feel a little uneasy as there didnt seem to be any security moving them on despite them having cameras on every floor monitoring the open air corridors to the rooms. Very beautiful hotel. Even the people trying to sell you things like massages and tattoos etc all seemed very lovely even wishing us a safe journey home even though we didnt take up their services. I would advise taking more suncream than you need to as we very nearly ran out and in the on site shop it was 30 euro for a bottle of suncream 🙈. The pools were lovely and clean and the big pool had easy access steps. The small pool had a hoist you could use if you were in a wheel chair they also had ramps throughout the site. The shuttle bus to the beach only takes you so far then to access the beach you have to go down lots of steep steps then walk through a long slippy floored under pass with no where to rest at the end theres showers then you have to walk through several other hotels areas of sun loungers a water sports centre then more hotels areas of sun loungers what would take up to 10 minutes for someone more able I wasn't able to get that far to it the beach was dirty but the sea was lovely and clear once you got past where the waves crashing throws the sand up. It would be impossible to get a wheel chair to there. Also something in the pool dyes whites green when I googled to see what could be the cause its something to do with copper oxidising the way they clean the pools they are very clean they pressure wash all the floors around the pool every night while the pools clean. but remember your swimwear will turn green its better to wear darker colours or green swimwear.
