Bar is set high for any other tropical resort

I was here all expenses paid trip courtesy of my company for a job well done in 2024. There were 300 other guests in our group. We had the Flavors of Tulum meal plan and while the sushi restaurant was not included, I can safely say I did not feel like we missed out. My very favorite was the breakfast buffet at Arbolea - so many choices and all so wonderful. For dinner, we ate at both Kengai and Autor. I preferred Kengai, but both were great. Service is impeccable and the staff is very attentive. A nice surprise were the complimentary cabanas at the pool. Most other resorts charge a fee to reserve these, so that was great. If you got to the pool before 11, securing one of these was no problem at all. Also plenty of chairs and no sign of the dreaded towel game when claiming a chair, that you see at other resorts. I really loved having both a quiet pool in front of my room and the option to go to the livelier main pool. Our room pool butted right up against the ocean and in March it was warm enough to swim in it at night. One of my favorite experiences of the trip. The aesthetic is to die for, and you really feel like you are at a five star resort. The wood elements in the modern design is really appealing and add warmth to the overall feel. Our room was placed at the very end of the resort. Both my husband and I are in decent shape and we enjoyed the covered 0.4 mile walk back to the lobby. We could spot exotic wildlife - even monkeys, in the thick foliage beside it. We also loved how private and quiet our ocean view room felt because of this. Golf carts are available for request if you don’t want to make the walk. Others may however see this as a detractor. If this is you, I suggest requesting a room closer to the lobby. The only con we had were lukewarm showers and we think it may be due to it being solar powered. The water was warmer on sunny days. Still, this wasn’t enough for me to detract from my five star review since everything else was just wonderful. We loved this trip so much we are planning one on our own dime next year.

This was our second trip to Conrad Tulum (we had been here 2 years prior) and it didn't disappoint again. While the previous trip we took time to explore local culture and other amazing things in the surrounding area this time we just stayed at the resort for 3 days. We relaxed by the pool and swam in the ocean. We didn't need anything more. The resort is very large but every area feels incredibly private and almost as if you are the first person discovering it. You could spend an entire trip going to different pools and areas to explore, have lunch, and relax. A highlight of this trip was the staff (in particular Jorge Ek and Andres -- who had just started working here -- by the pool beach) who are all incredibly attentive. I'll also say that the food here is really, really good. When we travel I mostly like to eat what the locals eat and although I'm under no allusion that eating food at a 5 star beach resort is "authentic" I can say what they do have is incredible. They have all the great Yucatan specialties like Lechon, Cochinita Pibil, and many other dishes from across Mexico. For dinner they also have multiple other restaurants that serve sushi, Mediterranean, and pan-Asian cuisine. We had sushi one night and it was incredible; many dishes had Yucatan influences and the quality of the fish was spectacular. Another culinary highlight were the numerous ceviches they have at different restaurants and bars. We probably had 6 unique different types of ceviche while staying here. Something that I think highlights how incredible the food is is that they have multiple different salsas at every restaurant. They aren't just making a batch of red and green and sending it out across the compound. They are taking the thought and time to craft unique experiences. Most people probably don't care about the number of ceviches or the number of sales available but I think those things just highlight how many attention to detail they have put into everything here and how much everyone cares. We will be going back to Conrad Tulum many times in the future.

Wonderful place for a family trip

We stayed here for a week, our first time in Mexico. Gorgeous venue on the coast, easy to walk around and multiple swimming pools in case the main one is too crowded. The kids club was especially fun for my young kids, they got to make slime, play board games, and watch movies. Every restaurant we went to was fantastic as well. The only challenge we had was getting dinner reservations for some of them, but everything turned out okay and we were able to try every dinner restaurant. The concierges, travel guides, the kids club staff, and all the hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. It made for a wonderful experience for our family.

We love Tulum Conrad. There were so many activities. Especially, Angie, Rocio, and Shamara are amazing! We really enjoyed the family activities because of them—they made our experience truly unforgettable. We’re so grateful for their effort in creating such special moments. Highly recommend!
