Stayed here for 7 nights, the start of August for bed & breakfast. Room - We just had a standard room, quite small and basic. No amenities like shower cap, sewing kit etc, no iron or tea / coffee facilities. Balcony looked out on to some bushes / paved area. Did come with soap / body wash and moisturiser. I particularly liked the towels as they were large enough to wrap round your body comfortably! The room was quite dark still with all the lights on, even in the bathroom, there was a magnifying mirror but I had to use my torch to do my eyebrows 🙈 It was 2 single beds pushed together which can be common but we found the beds quite hard and uncomfortable. Air con - website said 'individually controlled Air conditioning' yes the room has AC but its controlled by the hotel and doesn't go below 21.5 °C after getting maintenance out and speaking to the hotel manager, we were given the choice of a suite or a fan, we took the fan and tried it, worked a treat, so we declined the suite. (Hotel seemed really surprised at this!) Food - Breakfast did have a great selection, hot, cold, cereals, fruit, salad, breads, cheeses etc. Also got our iced latte with oat milk everyday included! We ate at the Italian which is outside, shared pasta carbonara and a margarita pizza. Both lovely tasted but half way through the meal the ants arrived in fashion and then wasps.. which spoiled the rest of the meal. No deterrents that I could see. We also ate in the restaurant you have breakfast in, again sat outside as majority of people were but then people started flapping due to bugs so we moved inside just in case. Service was slow. Husband got the beef & lamb kebab and I got the chicken gyros. Both massive portions which we couldn't finish, but again nice meal! Food and drink prices were very reasonable for being a hotel. Had various yummy cocktails & lunch the pool! Pool - There are 2 pools, one near reception/ italian restaurant which is the smaller quieter pool, the other is across the road at the Asian restaurant, which is larger and had a DJ playing most days. We started of at the quiet pool for the first few days. Didnt see it getting cleaned as even in the morning, there were dead bugs floating around then the scum formed in the corners from people's suncream (which staff just used paper towels to remove) Sunbeds were quite comfy (comfier than the bed!) They did have umbrellas for shade, but they didn't move and the sunbeds were quite hard to maneuver. Also, at both pools there was 1 toilet for each sex, which isn't enough for either size of the pools as always a queue, esp for the ladies!! Location - There is a shop which is attached on to some of the hotel rooms. Done a mix of everything, pool floats, alcohol, water, juice, crisps, sweets, souvenirs. No sandwiches though. We ate at Michel taverna and Olive Garden, which are a short walk away. Hotel will call you a taxi but they can take a while to arrive. Also coming back from Kolymbia one night, we gave in waiting and just walked back. (Hotel - maybe a shuttle service to Kolymbia?) The few minor issues we had were promptly solved by the manager, Christina, thank you! All in all, we had a great relaxing holiday and would return!
