Tony makes the best rum punch!
30 Apr 2025
We popped in for a cocktail and Tony the bartenders rum cocktail was the perfect tonic to cap off our visit! His friendly personality charmed us just as much as his cocktails. You will have a great afternoon at the Nelson Boatyard! Stop by and say hi to Tony and grab a drink!

Good but more like a classy B&B
31 Mar 2025
A classy hotel in historic Nelson's Dockyard. High quality furnishing, v comfortable bed. We had a suite but the living area could have been a bit more cosy considering the quality of furnishings. This is a small quiet hotel right by the water. It offers only breakfast though an attached restaurant is open for lunch. Surprisingly there is not really anywhere to sit outside and watch the harbour. No loungers or sun chairs. Staff are very nice and there is a kitchenette but if you think high-quality B&B you are nearer the mark. It's in a quiet spot about 5/10 mins walk from main part of English harbour - which we really liked. We hired a car to drive around the west coast beaches. There was also a water taxi to the lovely Galleon beach for $5 a go. Would have not worries about staying again but if money were no object there are more luxurious options

Tony made us feel so welcome and the coffee was presented beautifully and was delicious. I would highly recommend this gorgeous little gem of a place to anyone who visits Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua. We will definitely visit here again the next time we’re here!

Bloody mary
28 Feb 2025
Shout out to Tony in the bar for the amazing Bloody Mary and mimosa! The hotel is also very historic. The area is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was included, delicious with a gorgeous view of the bay. The staff at the hotel, restaurant and bar were very friendly

Wonderful hotel in historic building
31 Jan 2025
This is a gem of a hotel set in the most beautiful part of Antigua Right on the harbour at Nelson’s Dockyard. Our room was called Britannia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would heartily recommend. Sadly, we weren’t there on a Friday for the fish supper.

Payments safeguarded in a Trust Account
The airline is paid when you book and the rest of your payments are held in a trust account, which is controlled by the Travel Trust Association.
