Official Description

Nestled in a 3-kilometre beach of the finest coral sand, surrounded by tropical palm trees and the warm Indian Ocean, the hotel is situated 5 km from Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles. Beau Vallon Bay is the most popular beach area on the main island of Mahé. The hotel is 15 km away from the international airport. It has 130 lift accessible guestrooms, the majority of which feature lovely sea views. Guests can discover the stars at the rooftop observatory founded in cooperation with the Laupheim Observatory or enjoy a tasty dinner at the on-site restaurant. Disappointing

This holiday was a huge let-down. We were really looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing break, but instead, we were met with constant noise, dust, and disruption from building works happening throughout the hotel. It was upsetting not to be able to use the pool area, one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. The location is undeniably beautiful, and I truly appreciate how kind and helpful the staff were—but sadly, that wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend time and money on what was meant to be a dream getaway, only to leave feeling stressed and disappointed.

The beach is beautiful and we loved the island- the scenery is amazing! however the hotel is under major construction renovation which spoiled our stay considerably due to noise, dust and the unsightly view. The staff were all lovely but nothing could be done about a holiday with a building site at the centre of it unfortunately. The lack of sun shade was also an issue for us, both at the pool and beach. The shade under the trees was packed with people but the open beaches were empty. We wish we'd stayed elsewhere to be honest.

Our stay was very pleasant. The Hotel location is excellent at right at the beach front. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were always attended to promptly by all staff in each department. If the rooms can be refurbished with new furniture and upgraded, this place will be even better. I wouldn't mind going back again

Great Food & Service Mahek Restaurant and Team in Seychelles

My partner and I had a wonderful dining experience at Mahek in Beau Vallon. From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the cozy and inviting ambiance. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the manager went out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable. We ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, Bread, and Murg Masala Biryani, and all the dishes arrived promptly. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Indian flavors, and the portion sizes were generous. We highly recommend Mahek for a delightful and satisfying Indian meal in Beau Vallon!
