A lovely resort with friendly staff and excellent food. The spa is great, treatments are on the expensive side, but the massages are very good. Fabulous evening entertainment with very professionally dance ensemble. Despite those positive points there is no way I would return to Corendon. The noise level is unbelievable. Extremely loud thumping music is played all day long and there is no place in the whole resort one can get away from it. Even in the relax lounge at the spa the boom boom of the music can be heard. The music goes on until midnight, making sleeping without very good ear plugs near impossible, especially in rooms with sea view. Depending on the time of day and where one is situated, there might be even 2 different kind of music coming towards you (I.e. drum and base from the pool/pier and a guitarist player at the buffet restaurant or Greek music at the (very nice) fish restaurant competing with more drum and base from the pier next door. It’s a holiday resort and music is an important part of it, but there is nothing relaxing about constant extremely loud music. I’m sure many people love it and Corendon is the right place for them. However, it should be mentioned in the resort description that it is a party destination, so one can make an informed decision. It would be good if the resort installed some water fountains for guests to be able to refill their own water bottles. The amount of plastic bottles being used on a daily basis just for water is tremendous and could easily be reduced. It also might be useful to encourage guests to use towels for more than 1 day, as well as the bedding.
