Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa

A huge hotel however everything you might need in one place. Overall a very well run hotel, rooms good loads of space, comfy bed, great shower. The buffet restaurant (which was the only one we ate in) was excellent, the best food we have had in our various golfing trips to Belek. Masses of choice, well presented, always kept neat and tidy. Good table service for water and drinks. Endless food was available at all hours of the day and night in various locations. Plenty of places to sit and have a drink albeit quite busy in the evenings. Bearing in we went in mid november there was still sunbeds by the various pools and on the beach and the beach bar was running, great for the day not playing golf. WiFi average, better in the reception area but not good on the 7th floor. The only minus was the evening entertainment which considering the age group in the hotel (mainly over 55yrs!) didn't take into consideration the guests. An electronic music disco was the main item, surely some 60/70/80's music would go down really well? The highlight was the saxophone player. The Cornelia golf courses linked to the hotel were great, in the main very well looked after and generally very well organised. The shuttle to the courses from the hotel was very efficient and always ran on time. Overall very good value.

The hotel is very large, bigger than my normal preference but having said that there were several prime considerations which were entirely fulfilled. First and foremost, the service and friendliness of the staff were excellent throughout, smiling and helpful individuals’. Secondly, the buffet meals were above, we only ate breakfast and dinner but were overwhelmed for choice on both counts. The salad bar, which I will rarely consider when on holiday, was the most tempting I have ever seen, so much so that I piled my plate so high I needed neither a main course or desert.

This resort was picked to be able to play 5 rounds of golf in 7 days, this included the Faldo course (King, Queen & Prince, each are 9 holes) which is part of the Cornelia Diamond resort, but also to be reasonably local to Regnum Carya, Lykia Links & Nobilis golf courses. Arrived on the 10th of November and flew home to Leeds Bradford on the 17th of November. The first impressions are good as the lobby is impressive, service within this area is good and there are plenty of areas to sit down and relax. The buffet to me was just ok, whilst you’re not going to starve I found some of the food a bit bland but like I say you will not starve, as far as buffets go, it’s not bad, not great but not bad either. The à la carte restaurants are decent enough, I thought the steak house was the best, then the Italian and then the Chinese, note each of these come from an additional 25 euro per person charge which is paid upon check out. Around the main pool is another restaurant which has a buffet set up and also a menu to pick from too, I didn’t use the buffet here but did pick food from the menu which was nice. The 24 hour bubble restaurant is very basic, yes it offers snacks etc but meatballs and tomato sauce shouldn’t come with a sachet of tomato sauce for the accompanying sauce, it was literally meatballs and a sachet of ketchup 🤣 There’s a coffee place on the ground floor which is decent enough and offers desserts/cakes etc, just regarding coffee… it’s all out of a powder machine and whilst it does a job it’s not fresh ‘bean to cup’ stuff (Starbucks lovers, you’re going to be disappointed), the last Turkish resort I stayed at back in July this year (Trendy Lara) offered better coffee but I’m being picky now. The main lobby bar I think was 24 hour, come around 1am there is security kicking about keeping things in order, to be fair it was mainly us, English that was loud, embarrassing at times really, there are TVs in here which had the golf, boxing and England games on. There’s a bowling alley which was out of order for the week, at the side of this there are arcade games etc. There’s another bar area with 6 pool tables which all cost 5 euro for an hour and booked to the room. There’s a water park and kids water park which I don’t think were open, the larger slides definitely weren’t open anyway. The spa area is nice but why do they let screaming kids in it? A spa should be for 18+ people to relax, we don’t want shouting Russian kids left to have a free for all in the jacuzzis etc - THIS WAS A LET DOWN, it was literally like watching feral animals in the wild, maybe they were at the start of a training session or something, either way ban them. The rooms were spacious, large shower and bath area, TV which mainly catered for the Turkish and again, the Russians. The beds were comfy, loads of toiletries, mini bar was stocked daily, rooms cleaned daily, beds made daily, safe was easy to use, plenty of wardrobe space, decent size balcony but why do they not give you an iron and board? It’s a 5 star resort.. come on, luckily I knew this before I arrived and took a small steamer. A real annoyance regarding the rooms was the amount of times we needed to get the key card recoded, apparently you cannot put the keys next to a mobile phone, so basically if you have a phone and the card in your pocket together it’s wipes the key for some reason, this happened almost every day. All in all though, I enjoyed the week I stayed here. We are already booked to return for a golf trip next September (2026) for a week at the Cornelia Diamond. 🇹🇷 ⛳️ 🌞 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
