Official Description

Characterised by the romance and history of the ancient world, this 8 hectare resort, located directly on a sandy beach, is absolutely unique. It has its own, natural bathing island. In just 20 minutes, guests are able to reach the centre of Ocho Rios with its shops, restaurants and bars, which, by the way, may also be found within the resort itself. This all inclusive, couples only hotel has a total of 206 rooms and suites across 4 floors. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, air conditioning, a safe, a currency exchange desk, and a lift. A casino, a games room, a TV lounge, several restaurants and 4 bars, including a bar on the hotel's private bathing island and a piano bar, may be used by guests. Wireless Internet access and room service are additionally available. The combination of natural beauty and the vast range of facilities and conveniences available free of charge or for an additional fee transports guests into a world which is equally Jamaican paradise and a 1950s Hollywood star magnet. The rooms and suites situated in the main building are romantically, stylishly and exquisitely decorated. They are air-conditioned, extremely generously sized and offer incomparable views of the ocean. The superior garden rooms (lowest category) have a lovely view over the lush gardens. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a CD player, a king-size bed, a hire safe and Internet access. A balcony or terrace, a minibar, a coffee machine, an iron and ironing board and evening bed linen service are also included.

A real escape

What a find! When you read the reviews about decor I was a little apprehensive but there was no need to be. A proper authentic resort which felt special and individual rather than corporate. People working here work very hard and on the whole are so friendly. Favourite was Santana and Devon! Didn’t venture to the ‘special’ island but the yoga, the tennis, the facilities - all great and kept very clean. Favourite restaurant was terrace.

Amazing staff!

This hotel has the most amazing staff that cannot do enough for you. We arrived and yes the hotel is a little tired in places, but that did not affect our holiday. The food is amazing the concierge cannot do enough for you. The bar staff entertaining and good fun. Our flight was seriously delayed approx 10 hrs, we found out before we left for the airport, the hotel reception were amazing they allowed us to stay all day and keep our room and never charged us a thing they arranged for a free shuttle to the airport! We would definitely visit again, well done Couples Tower!

This was our second time in Jamaica and we choose this resort for the first time. As soon as we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The staff were all amazing and in particular there were 3 staff members who went beyond their our expectations. Bartender Whiteley was fantastic and always fun to be around with . Akme was part of the water sports staff . He always had a smile on his face . And Danielle was fantastic to deal with so much that she convinced us to return to this resort in our near future. Overall it felt like your part of a family from the moment you arrived till the moment you return..

This was my and my husband’s first time in Jamaica. We had read the reviews, and it seemed like a good fit. We are not fans of overly large resorts, and we definitely wanted Adults Only, so we went in with an open mind. The resort is about 1.5 hrs away from the airport, but the bus is air conditioned. We were greeted as soon as we got off the bus with cool towels for our faces. It was such a nice gesture! The check in was quick, and we were able to get to our rooms right away. The bellhop took our bags for us and dropped them into the room for us. Right away, he asked if we needed any green. I’m not sure if they ask everyone, or just people who they think may be looking, More on that later ;) As soon as we were settled, we went to the main lobby and made reservations for Eight Rivers and Bayside. We had multiple options for days and time slots. We are not beach people, and the beach is smaller, so the smaller beach wasn’t an issue for us. We would hang out by the pools throughout the days. The first couple of days was a red flag day, but once we were able to, we went to the island. GO…TO…THE… ISLAND!! I was hesitant on trying it, but we went the first day we could, and we both loved it. The vibe is awesome over there. We met some great people around the pool, and it really is a non judgement space. If you need green, go see the dark blue shirts with the water sports. They will get you some good stuff. The pools were great, one with a swim up bar, the other is just a pool, but that one is next to the restaurants and bar. The food was great. There was always lots of variety, and my husband and I never left a table hungry. We found some mornings we just wanted some cold cereal, and they had that too. Multiple mornings I would have a fresh omelet and my husband would have fresh made fried eggs. The entertainment was good, and it wasn’t too late into the night. This was our first time to Jamaica. We loved the resort which is on the smaller side from our experience. This provided pluses and minuses to our previous visits to all inclusive resorts. A benefit we thoroughly enjoyed was the short walk from our room to the beach, along with the beautiful view over the ocean from our balcony. A drawback to the smaller resort was the quality of evening entertainment was lacking compared to other vacations we have taken. Would this stop us from coming back, absolutely not. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your vacation complete and enjoyable. A few names I remember are Dwight, Karelia, Omar, Ryon, and Jermaine, though these are just a few of the hard-working staff who went above and beyond to make our vacation truly wonderful and we are very grateful🙏🏻. As has been noted, the rooms are a little dated, but who spends that much time in the room anyways? However, the bed in the room was so comfortable. I am considering calling up the resort to find out what brand they are and where I can get one! We never had an issue with being able to get chairs down on the beach as quite a few of the guests go over to the island during the daytime. Another big incentive to go to this resort are the excursions which are included in the price of the stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the catamaran ride in the Ocho Rios area, along with the snorkeling trips, which are available. A big thank you once again to all the hard-working people involved with couples tower Isle👍🏻
