What made the situation even more distressing was that a member of the hotel’s guest relations team contacted me via WhatsApp with unprofessional messages and screenshots, indicating that my information had been accessed in a way that raised serious concerns for me. The timing and the communication I received made me feel that my data had not been handled securely. When I tried to address the situation with the hotel, the response I received was dismissive and unhelpful. My concerns were not taken seriously, and there was no meaningful effort to investigate or provide support. Overall, this experience left me feeling unsafe, unheard, and unsupported. Guests deserve to feel confident that their personal information is handled with care, and I strongly hope the hotel takes immediate steps to improve its professionalism and data-protection practices. I did not feel that my data was protected during my stay.
