This is an interesting property that is part of the Hilton timeshare program. I was in town for business and brought my wife with me - making our stay more of a couple's stay. It could have been a great property, but for reasons I will explain, I knocked it down a peg. To begin, I try to rate hotels based on what they are supposed to be. A full service Hilton will have different standards applied than a Hampton Inn. This property is unique, in that it is designed for a longer stay with an apartment complex feel. These are walk-ups (no elevators) so be warned. Additionally, the room we had was fitted with a massive garden tub in the center. Normally, my wife would be thrilled, but it cuts into available space. The location is great. You are near a ton of restaurants and a convenient Target, Winn Dixie, and ABC stores for those last minute items. The grounds are clean and the staff is friendly. Juliet was very nice at the front desk. We ALMOST took Olga up on the time share introduction, but chose not to do so for one key reason: they have an over-the-top weather safety policy, whereby the pools shutdown 30 minutes before and reopen 30 minutes after any sign of rain. This is Florida. Rain is a daily occurrence. I can honestly say that every single day our pool was closed for at least a few hours. It is annoying. The volcano feature is cute. The pool is clean and well maintained. But be prepared not to use it that often. That was the only reason we chose not to explore the timeshare option. We did not want to buy something with a ridiculously sensitive rain/pool policy. The televisions are a little dated, too. Think old school cable versus some more modern options, like NetFlix equipped hotel TVs. Otherwise, the rooms are fine. One last point: the water pressure in the shower is brutally bad. The water comes out at very soft, trickle power. That was annoying. The club across the way is nice. There is a little Tiki Bar that serves "wine based" alcohols (no real drinks). The food is typical pool concession fare and OK. Overall, this is a good property that can use some quick upgrades and a reevaluation of its rain/pool policy.
