D'Andrea Mare Beach Hotel

One of the best experiences I had during my visit to Greece the hotel is really good specially for the families with kids it was easy to control my kids wherever they go I could see them there is 2 kids pool small toboggan the kids club with play ground and a lots of activities, the restaurant is always clean different foods I love the breakfast and the fruits, reception man in the night was so friendly he gives us all information what we need during the day around the pool the guys of animation specially spider and Emile they are always around and talking to us and inviting us to the activities or the evening shows finally thanks to this hotel I advised specially for families

The animation team were brilliant (especially Marika), hard working and were very attentive. Good great, will definitely be back!

I LOVED this beautiful hotel but sadly I’ve had to down grade my star rating due to some very rude obnoxious staff. Front of house in the main buffet restaurant staff were the main issue. I couldn’t tell you the woman’s name but she was ofsturdy build, with short bobbed black hair around 30 but it was hard to tell as she was often frowning at me and that added a few years. The dress code stated smart casual which I always abided too but she really took a dislike to me and kicked me out on 3 occasions for what I was wearing yet there were women wearing similar who she didn’t bat an eyelid at. She was smirking and pointing with her staff before approaching me and what was infuriating was the fact she didn’t say anything to a lady wearing a beach cover up over a teeny bikini with her butt on display. Her unwelcoming demeanour was appalling and if it wasn’t for her bad rude attitude I would have returned. She has lost you a valuable customer . Apart from her the rest was ok food good and amenities were spot on, shame about the grumpy woman with the chip on her shoulder

We have had a fantastic stay here and I in particular have felt incredibly well looked after by the chef who went above and beyond ensuring that my special dietary requirements were met. Being a coeliac I have to follow a strict gluten free diet and Mustafa ensured I was very well fed! The animation team were lovely. Marika worked tirelessly ensuring our 11-yr old daughter felt very happy and included and we enjoyed many fun activities and good conversations with her. The bar staff, reception staff and catering staff were all very kind and polite, chatty people. The pool, lawn, beach, gym, bars, restaurant and kids’ club are all close together and so it was easy to get around. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I went on my first solo trip and decided to stay in D’andrea Mare and honestly it was the best decision I ever made. Because I booked last minute I had the privilege to stay in 2 different rooms, 1 with an incredible view and 1 renovated room. The rooms were very spacious and clean, beds were amazing too. The snackbar in the hotel is very nice, you can get different sorts of food throughout the day. Same for the bar, amazing work on the delicious cocktails. Special thanks to the bar staff: Dimitris, Augustinos, Nikos, George. They learned I was on a solo trip and gave me some amazing recommendations and talked with me while making some fire drinks. The lady at the front desk was always very helpful. Whether it was with booking a taxi, getting a shuttle or a question about the rooms. Kostas (the night guard) was especially amazing, we talked a bit when the hotel was empty and he’s an amazing person, but also very professional at his job. You also have an animation team and a lifeguard at the hotel. When I first came to the hotel (alone ofcourse), Spider immediately talked with me and asked me to join one of the activities, that made me feel very welcomed. Then you have Emile, he’s also Dutch, so that made for some nice conversation. He also invited me for a clubtour the animation organizes, which I can definitely recommend! Marika is also a very nice and uplifting person, she invited me to volleyball, table tennis and darts and she always made sure we had fun. Then for the kids you have a kidsclub. After meeting multiple of the animators I decided to take a look over at the kidsclub. There you have Violette, which does an amazing job at keeping the children happy and occupied. It was so nice to see all the children (even at the shows in the evening) come up to her and be happy to see her. She does an amazing job and the kids genuinely like her and feel safe around her (which I think is very important). As I previously mentioned you also have a lifeguard, his name was Ricardo. Ricardo was honestly amazing. When I first came over he talked to me a bit (after he was done working) and I learned a lot from him, genuinely an amazing guy. While I was at the bar, a man fell down the stairs and he immediately jumped up and helped in very timely manner. He’s super professional and even helped me when I cut open my foot on the rocks. Together the staff, animation and lifeguard made the place feel like home instead of a hotel. I was planning on staying for a week, but extended my stay because I felt so much at ease. The hotel is very well organized and everyone works very hard to keep it that way. I normally also write things that a hotel can improve on, but I honestly can’t think of anything. Special thanks to everyone for making my first solo trip an absolute core memory.
