D'Andrea Mare Beach Hotel

We went the first week of September with our two young children, just after school holiday, and our stay was super great! We didn’t leave the resort in 8 days! 😅 The pool and lazy river with slide is great, and it’s right on the beach! It’s also on a nice and quiet stretch of beach. You could also see the sun set over the beach every day from our room 😄 Our 3 year old loved the mini disco (although some people could find it repetitive - same songs every night) and she learnt all the actions, dances and words. She still was singing it a couple of weeks after we got home! The song 3 times a day at the pool is a night touch which gets in your head. Dimitros makes the best cocktails - and is also super friendly! I would go down every evening before sunset and took the cocktails in our room and watch sunset. Which is a nice way to start the evening. I had a massage, and it was decent. Cons: to be balanced - we think the hotel could be a bit small for some people, the bar area was hard / almost impossible to get a seat outside… and there are no other restaurants. It’s also quite loud when the planes fly over, but it’s very brief, and our children quite liked it! The pros still out weigh all these, and if was a 5 star holiday for us! I honestly loved this holiday so much! 🥰 I stayed here for a week with my boyfriend from the end of September to the beginning of October, and it was absolutely lovely. It wasn’t too crowded, but you did have to get up early if you wanted a sunbed right by the pool. We usually used the ones on the grass instead, which were still great. We arrived around 11pm and there was sandwiches waiting in the room for us which was so nice as we were hungry! We had a double room with a sea view on the top floor, and the view was stunning, overlooking both the pool and the sea. The balcony was spacious and really nice too. The food was amazing, with different themed nights and everything was delicious! The swim-up bar was a favourite, they served cocktails, fizzy drinks, and even iced coffee (which was so yummy!). The snack bar had hot dogs, gyros, burgers, and ice cream, all so good! The entertainment team were so lovely, and the evening shows were fantastic, bingo, ABBA tribute, acrobatics, movie quiz, dancers, karaoke… all so much fun! The beach was beautiful, though quite rocky, so I’d definitely recommend bringing water shoes. There were plenty of shops about a 15-minute walk away, we took a stroll along the beach and even used the electric scooters, which was really fun. There’s also a small shop in the hotel that sells essentials like sun cream and snacks. Rooms were cleaned daily if you wanted, which was great. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, the only downside was that it rained one day, but of course that’s not the hotel’s fault! I’d definitely recommend it, it was an amazing holiday! 🥰

We’ve just returned from our third stay at D’Andrea Mare. We first went in 2016, then 2023 and again 2025. Every time we’ve been, we’ve loved it. This time we were in one of the newly renovated rooms (122) which was so nice. It was modern, spacious and the bed was super comfy. As always, the staff were amazing. From the front of house, to the restaurant and bar staff and the entertainment team. Some of the staff have been there since our first visit and one even claimed to have remembered us (even if it’s not true, it’s nice! 😂). D’Andrea Mare just ticks all of the boxes. Great location, great staff, great food, great pool (and pool bar!) and is just generally a lovely place to stay. I always said I’d never be a person that went back to a hotel twice, no matter how much I liked it, but D’Andrea Mare has changed that around! Thank you guys for another lovely stay, we’re already looking forward to coming back 🤍
