Our stay was as wonderful as I expected, the apartment was exactly as in the pictures on the website I made reservation on it, the breakfast was good and varied, the staff at the hotel were very nice and the location of the hotel is great, Dubai Mall located steps away from the hotel, Thanks for all the staff at Damac Maison Mall Street Hotel for their hospitality.

Awful dirty rooms AVOID

Awful experience with Damac maison Dubai mall street. The room/ apartment we were provided with was dated and dirty. The furniture had peeling paint, marks and scratches. The soft furnishings including the sofa looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. The bathroom was horrid- we didn’t want to stand in the shower as the grout lines had clearly never been cleaned. Covered in mildew and dirt spots. The floor tiles were chipped and dirty. Several of the power outlets were not functioning, including the bedside sockets. When we did find a functioning socket the electrics blew, this left us stranded unable to even call reception as the room telephone and AC all stopped functioning. The pillows were also a travesty, one rock hard lumpy pillow and one completely flimsy flat one. It was difficult to stay for even a day, when we headed to reception the staff didn’t acknowledge any of the concerns, simply stating ‘you don’t like the grout?’. This gave us zero confidence that any of the other rooms or properties would be any better! This is supposed to be a five star hotel but it most definitely isn’t. The staff lied when challenged, saying a burj khalifa view room was offered as an alternative, this was not the case- avoid, avoid, avoid! There are far better, cleaner and nicer hotels than this one!

Like having a home in Dubai

We arrived in Dubai on the early morning flight and was allowed to have our last day’s breakfast that morning because we also left before breakfast on our departure. The reception staff did an outstanding job and gave us a room way way earlier than normal check in time, so we could rest and clean up a bit before our experience in Dubai. The room is an apartment and super comfy and spacious. It’s literaly just around the corner from Dubai mall. Taxis are easily available. I’d definitely recommend staying here as it is in relation to the prices of elsewhere in Dubai very good value for money. We took the hop on hop of bus the next morning to have an oversight of Dubai before a booked experience the afternoon, but that was in my opinion a waste of money. It’s very difficult to get the location of where the bus are and the stops are actually realy random places leaving you wondering where you’re supposed to go🤷‍♀️

Sabir the manager is the best

I have stayed multiple times at this hotel before and has always been a great experience. The hotel manager Sabir is doing an excellent job and he went out of his way to help me. He deserves a pay rise! Great location, 5 min walk from Dubai mall through the address hotel. 2 min walk from supermarket which is open 24/7. Rooms are large in size and really good value for money. Thank you Mr Sabir and I will be visiting again very soon.
