I gave 1 star because there is no option to give ZERO star. The customer service at this hotel should be NEGATIVE 10 (-10) star instead. When checking in with the hotel manage, Rafail, he keeps pushing for sunset cruise, which I politely rejected, as we only have 2 nights in Santorini. Rafail shows unhappy face and orientated the room in very rude manner. Everything is only he say, and doesn't allow us to talk. When checking the room after we unpack our stuffs, we found that the shower glass door cannot close properly and will swing open due to alignment problem with the latch (let me know if you want to view video of the faulty shower room door). We highlighted the issue to Rafail's assistant ( I did not get his name, so I'll name him as 'B' here), who is rotating shift with Rafail. 'B' told us that it is already quite late (around 3pm at that time), and that they cannot get the technician to come and fix the door issue. 'B' also told us to highlight the issue to Rafail on next morning when Rafail is in office. On the next morning before we left the room to explore the island, I highlighted the shower door issue to Rafail, who came into the room to check and told us that he will arrange for the technician to come and repair it. When we returned to the room in the afternoon at around 4pm, we noticed that the shower room door is not repair totally. As my wife experienced on the first night that the air con will enter the shower area and making it very cold when showering, so we went to the office and highlighted to 'B' again (Rafail had already left office). 'B' told us that it is too late to activate the technician, and told us to use a chair to block the shower room door when showering. My wife then question 'B' about their attitude (about repair the shower room door) and commented that this will affect our online review about the hotel. 'B' left immediately without saying anything. After a while, Rafail dashed into the room angrily, questioned and accused us for making a big fuss, then demanded us to pack up and leave the room. Rafail also accused us for hanging our wet clothes outside our room (a private area just outside our room door) and commented that we did not respect the hotel. I argued that the hotel can always highlight to us if we are not allow to hang our wet clothes at that area. Rafail also accused my wife for taking video, and snatched the handphone from my wife. However, Rafail couldn't find any video (of him) in my wife's handphone. I demanded Rafail to apologise for his rude action, which he bluntly declined, and threatened to call for police if we do not pack up and leave the room. I agreed with Rafail and challenged him to call the police in to settle. Rafail left the room immediately, (I overheard him) talking to someone outside my room (maybe through phone), then returned to the room and concluded that we can choose to stay if we want or pack up and go. I'm definitely not recommending Day Dream in Santorini as it will be a daydream if you are looking for the peaceful stay here. Their rude approach and attitude towards their guests shows non-existence of customer service at all.
