Our experience of Imperial vs Mardan Palace

We visited Mardan last November for 2 weeks and loved it, we researched where is as good if not better in Lara and Delphin Imperial kept coming up so we thought we would give it a try! Private transfer from airport which was great and dropped off at the entrance to the hotel, cases taken by concierge, walked through revolving doors and made our way to reception to get checked in. If I were to be picky at this point we were greeted by no-one, no drink after our journey on arrival which left me a bit disappointed compared to the welcome offered at Mardan! However once checked in we headed to the lobby bar and had our customary 2 or 3 drinks before heading up to the room. My wife and I are foodies and enjoy a good drink whilst on our holidays, neither disappointed at this hotel, served very quickly at any bar on the complex, staff really are very efficient, it's a well oiled machine for sure! The buffet after being at Mardan we thought was going to be a tough one for Imperial to beat! it didn't beat it at all! it SMASHED it! WOW, what a buffet, won't bore you with detail but all I can say is if you can't sort yourself a meal each time in there then stick to McDonalds, it's awesome! Again if I were to be picky here I personally found that at lunchtime we liked to sit in the outside section designated for smokers as its all open overlooking the outdoor heated pool (we do not smoke) and out of all the places we sat for food this was by far the worst are for service from waiting staff. It is almost as if it is for the new staff to train in as at times you had to grab your own drink out of the fridges, plates were left on the table and not taken away very quickly, it wasn't just a couple of occasions It was almost every time? I mention this in the hope that it gets back to the manager of that section for him to sit and watch guests sit down and simply be ignored and not served. We loved the walkway down to the beach with the kebab kiosk, sandwich kiosk, coffee kiosk (lovely lady working here, so smiley and happy) fresh fruit, milkshakes etc, absolutely great, well done on this really makes the hotel. Toilets around the hotel, I don't think I ever went into any toilets at anytime without there being a member of cleaning staff either in the male or female toilets, cleaning, filling towels up etc, 10 out of 10 here for sure! At the bars as I have said previously we never really had to wait at anytime to be served drinks, this could sometimes vary if you sat down for waiter service but of want a drink quick just grab one before you sit down1 Entertainment in the amphitheatre was always worth watching and to be honest in general much better than other hotels we have stayed in, we watched some good acts over the fortnight and staff put a lot of effort in. Loved the pier bar and exceptional views offered from here, always found a longer on the beach and the hotel was at full capacity according to staff. They have a nightclub here, we went in 2 or 3 times and have to say compared to the Marian's "Monkey Club" it was pretty naff to say the least! max 30 people in at any one time and quite dodgy music for us Brits. The Monkey Club I would give a 9/10, here a 2/10 for comparison. We didn't go to any A La Cartes as my wife is coeliac and requires a gluten free diet, when we went to guest relations to book visits at these restaurants we were told they could not cater for my wife! this for us was extremely poor given the size of the operation here, but as we have previously said the main buffet was excellent so this was fine for the fortnight. My wife also loved the jacket potatoes from the kebab kiosk from 4pm I think it was, she said they were excellent. The first week of our holiday the air con in the room was as icy cold as you wanted it, which was fantastic, second week it was blowing ambient air out. As we were there at changing over from summer to winter concept it appears it was shut off at the end of week one, so we slept with the balcony door open which helped cool the room down, however, the hotel next door is being refurbished and work started early in the morning which woke me up on several occasions in the second week. We didn't make an issue of this as overall the holiday was fantastic! We also love the location of this hotel as we enjoy going for a walk each day to stretch the legs, this wins hands down compared to the location of the Mardan. For this very reason you have to wear wrist bands for the duration which I am not a fan of but totally understand why given it's in the middle of town. We found that this hotel had predominantly German guests, prob followed by English, some Belgians and a few Russians but not many. If you have teenagers or small kids there are a couple of fantastic water parks included and a fun fair too. To summarise we were really worried had we made a mistake booking here instead of going back to the Mardan? as we had enjoyed that so much? but we very rarely go back to a hotel for a second visit. Would I go back to Delphin Imperial for a second visit? YOU BET!!

Fabulous Vacation and Wonderful People at Delphin Imperial!

This was my first visit to a Delphin Group family hotel, and I can confidently say – it was simply fabulous! Location & First Impressions. Delphin Imperial is strategically located very close to the airport, so our arrival was incredibly quick and convenient. It is also located not far from the historic city of Antalya, which is easily accessible via the hotel’s shuttle bus service. Traveling along the coast, the hotel immediately stands out with its impressive tower architecture, and the facade looks stunning with its colorful lighting. Upon entering, you are welcomed by helpful staff who provide all necessary information with a genuine smile. The hotel is immensely large with many relaxation spots, pools, and spacious rooms. A huge plus is that even with many guests, you never feel crowded or overwhelmed. Staff – The Heart of the Hotel. However, the best part of the experience was the people. The hotel's atmosphere is amazing solely because of the staff's contribution and dedication. Everyone is incredibly helpful and always ready to assist. Since I love an active lifestyle, I want to say a special and huge THANK YOU to the sports activity team – Hande, Ezgi, and Mira. These girls are amazing personalities! Their bursting energy not only brightens the day, but they are also excellent instructors: they provide the peace of yoga, teach various water gymnastics, aero yoga, pilates, and can even teach you how to dance. I wish them the greatest success! It is also important to mention the fun animation team and the colorful kids' area staff who strive to involve guests in various activities. Thank you to Iro, Mert, and the others. We felt very safe because there is a responsible lifeguard team working by every pool and the sea – special thanks to lifeguard Ahmet Işık and his colleagues. Food & Service. The hotel cuisine was excellent — the food was very tasty, varied, and fresh. We enjoyed the thematic dining nights featuring food from different countries, but traditional food was always available as well. Big thanks to the cooks and chefs! The service in the restaurants and bars also deserves praise. Thank you to bartender Abdullah Çil for great service and to Ali, who "flies" around on rollerblades, for his speed and great mood! Summary. While returning home, you feel that you are bringing back not just a piece of sunshine, but also memories of meeting wonderful, kind-hearted people. I think we might have to come back again. I wish prosperity and great success to the entire Delphin hotel group!

This hotel is the best absolutely beautiful inside, no need to be hungry even for the fussy eaters . The staff are happy to help. The bar in the reception is a lovely place to sit before dinner cocktails are lovely rooms are very nice , there is everything you would possible want in this hotel. Going back in may this time taking family with me.
