Don’t bother booking this villa it’s awful

Unfortunately we booked our stay here and left the second day. The villas are very out dated. The shower has no pressure, the toilet gets blocked and you need to wait 10 minutes in order for it to flush properly. The stairs have this strange creaky noise. There was no fan or even an aircon down stairs in the main area where you sit and it’s extremely tiny. You can’t leave the door open due to the mosquito bites coming in. I was not able to get a refund I was offered another room with the exact same Facilities and issues they claim all the facilities were working fine but I can’t assure you that it was not the location is a good spot but plenty other villas for the same price so don’t waste your time or your money they said check it was at 2pm we did not check in until almost 30 mins later, and then checked out after night one.

This is a beautiful reasonably priced spot. We had a 2 bedroom villa with private pool and it was bang on. The team here are absolutely lovely and so accomodating. Worked out to $67NZD per person per night incl breakfast.

Enjoyed our stay but improvements needed

Although the experience was overall pleasant, the whole village is a little dated and due some maintenance to bring back to standard from photo reviews shown on 2021. Sunbeds was missing cushioned pads. Wooden furniture needs sanding and revarnishing, sheets and towels had stains. The maintenance to bring the village back to spec would be reasonably low cost. Breakfast was the disappointing area, flies on food due to selections not being covered. Chefs couldn't seem to get the hang of cooking Sunnyside up eggs without the uncooked white parts of the eggs. Two of the three toasters didn't work. Our room flooded (water seemed to come up into the villa from the ground), staff sorted quickly however had belongings been on the floor they would have been ruined. We would stay here again as location was ideal, and beds were comfy, staff was friendly

Good but can be improved

Stayed in a one bedroom villa…didn’t realise it was 2 storey and couldn’t get my suitcase up the stairs. Was dated and no comfortable seating downstairs. Bathroom needs a re-grout as looked mouldy. Breakfast had limited choice. Has 2 pools with one a lot quieter. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was close to shops and restaurants.
