Lovely but a few adjustments needs to make it outstanding

We liked the Devasom Resort but admittedly could do with some updates. There was no full length mirror in the room which in my mind is a must especially for female guests being a hotel of this calibre. Twin wash hand basins would have been handy especially if there are more than 2 people staying in one room. But besides these minor points which could easily be rectified we had a lovely time. The room was spotless, couldn’t fault it. Not one insect to be seen. A special thank you to Tommy (female) at the Beach Grill restaurant, a lovely lady who took care of us. Meals here were on point, no complaints whatsoever. No problem getting sun loungers at the pool although it took awhile to be served with snacks and drinks in this area, rather slow. Beach area virtually non existent and couldn’t swim in the sea as it really rough but it wasn’t a problem. Breakfasts was ok, although the pancake/waffle station needs attention, should be made to order with a selection of condiments (no fresh cream) had to be requested. We don’t regret our stay, this hotel is definitely a place to chill and unwind and definitely photogenic, the ambiance is just right for that but a few amendments would make it just that more special and outstanding.

Great Experience!

A Wonderful Stay I stayed at the hotel on July 24, 2025, and had an excellent experience. The property is beautifully maintained and offers a serene atmosphere. The staff were courteous and professional, especially Khun Max and Khun Sor at the front desk, who provided exceptional service. The food was delightful. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Disappointing visit to this resort

Beware this resort is at the end of an isolated strip on a nice beach in Khao Lak, granted it was July and off season, but not only was the sea rough, but the beach was littered with rubbish, nothing like in the advert of gently paddle boarding on a calm lagoon

Amazing memories of Devasom, just loved every minute.

Devasom is a beautiful boutique hotel set right on the beach. The staff are amazing and super super friendly, there is nothing too much for them. We stayed for 5 nights in April, in a family 2 bed beach front pool villa. The room was just perfect, with a pool looking over the beach, but set back just enough to feel private. Paradise. We loved having a little lounge area to sit in, we did visit the main pool a bit but spend most time in our pool tbh. The food is as you would expect, top quality. My wife said the steak was one of the best she has had. Perhaps avoid the special buffets, they were a little overpriced , unless you eat a lot. We made use of the free shuttle into town and visited the night market, also took bikes to see the temple up the road. They also have free kayaks and paddle boards.. sea can get a little rough though.. We have amazing memories of our time Devasom, thank you to everyone who looked after us. Just loved every minute!
