Dhigufaru Island Resort

We had a fantastic stay at Dhigufaru Island Resort with our kids – they absolutely loved it! The island is small but stunning, with beautiful beaches and clear waters. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were excellent – a big thank you to Roda for making our check-in smooth and easy. Since we arrived early, they even gave us a room to relax in until our beach villa was ready. They also surprised me with a lovely birthday gesture, which made the trip even more special. The only area for improvement would be the food – while there was a good variety, they could add some more cuisines and more flavour. Overall, everything was well managed and we highly recommend this resort for families!

We stayed at Dhigufaru Island Resort recently and had an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. It’s a truly beautiful island with picture-perfect scenery, excellent service, and an atmosphere that’s both relaxing and full of life. Whether you're looking to unwind or explore, this resort offers something special. Check-in & Arrival Experience: From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with care and professionalism. Niya was very attentive & friendly. The welcome was warm and genuine. The transfer was smooth and well-organized, and we were greeted with refreshing drinks and big smiles. It set the tone for the rest of the trip. Accommodation: Our room was cozy, clean, and just a few steps from the beach. The layout was well-thought-out, and it had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Special thanks to Room Boy Ram, who ensured our room was always spotless and tidy. He was attentive to every detail — we would come back to fresh towels, a neatly arranged room, and even small touches that made it feel personal. The entire housekeeping team deserves a big shoutout for being incredibly hardworking, quiet, and respectful. They maintained high standards every day without ever being intrusive. All-Inclusive Package: We opted for the All-Inclusive package, and it was well worth it. We could enjoy drinks from the bar at any time of the day, and often found ourselves grabbing a refreshing cocktail or juice every time we walked past on the way to our room. The bar staff was always cheerful and quick, and the quality of beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) was great.But what really stood out was the service. A heartfelt thanks to Mona, Khushi, Deepak, and Abduk, who were all incredibly attentive, polite, and genuinely caring. Every service was a pleasure with such a friendly team around. The food options were plentiful and delicious — fresh food, local delicacies, and international cuisine. The variety at the buffet kept every meal interesting. Activities & Entertainment: We took full advantage of the island’s beautiful setting — the beach at Dhigufaru is absolutely stunning. It’s wide, clean, and perfect for morning walks or just lounging under the sun. The soft white sand and clear turquoise water are straight out of a travel magazine. We also did snorkeling, and it was a wonderful experience. The resort offers snorkeling equipment free of charge, which is a great plus. We saw vibrant coral formations, colorful reef fish, and just loved floating around in the warm water. One of the highlights of our stay was the DJ night — it was full of fun, laughter, and great music. It brought guests together in such a joyful and relaxed way. There was dancing, chatting, and a great sense of community. Staff & Hospitality: The staff at Dhigufaru are truly what make this place exceptional. Beyond the excellent service, they go out of their way to ensure every guest feels cared for. A special mention goes to Mary and Shaariu, who were both absolutely amazing. Their warmth, attention to detail, and ability to read guests' needs made us feel incredibly pampered. They are professionals who truly understand hospitality. From the bar to housekeeping, from the restaurant to activities — everyone worked seamlessly to create a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly without being overbearing, professional yet warm, and they always wear a genuine smile. Dhigufaru is a gem in the Maldives. Whether you're a couple seeking romance, or just want to unwind in paradise, this resort ticks all the boxes. The blend of natural beauty, excellent amenities, and outstanding service makes it a place you’ll want to return to. We left with beautiful memories, relaxed minds, and happy hearts. Just returned from a relaxing stay on Dhigufaru Island. 22 hours from leaving the island to getting home, a long trip, very tiring but we'll worth it. The island is staffed with very friendly and polite people. To mention but a few was Margaret (Mary), Surgenh (sorry that's probably spelt wrong) they worked in restaurant and were happy and helpful whenever we were dining. Thilak worked in the bar and always delivered our drinks when we wanted them ( his smile reminded me of Freddie) I'm sure when you meet him you'll know why and which Freddie I hope he doesn't mind me saying and I mean no disrespect to him. Khushi worked in another bar and was also happy to tend to our needs and talkative, great to have a good conversation. The food in the restaurant was delicious and tasty, three times a day we went and always found tasty food, if you couldn't find any food to satisfy your needs I can only assume that you must be a very fussy eater. The food must have been prepared and cooked to a excellent standard because over a ten days stay we were not ill from anything at all. Our room was air conditioned which is essential and the bathroom partly outside has a nice touch of being able to shower and look up at the stars at the same time. Our room was cleaned by Nishant on a daily basis and even came back in evening to turn your bed down. Very well done to all that work on Dhigufaru island for making it a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Best experience ever we had.. Best friendly staff and best hospitality.. amazing foods, we stayed 3 days so we tried different foods in each day.. Highly recommended..
