Diana Palace Hotel Zakynthos

Our experience at this hotel was very DISAPPOINTING! One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the free parking, as it was clearly stated in our booking confirmation. However, when we arrived, we were told that the parking was “free upon availability.” This was never mentioned during the booking process. The parking area only accommodates around 10 cars, making it extremely difficult to find a space. We showed our booking confirmation, where there was no indication that parking was subject to availability, but no solution was offered. We were left completely dissatisfied, as we feel this information was misleading. In addition, for an all-inclusive hotel, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The complimentary soft drinks and beverages were of very poor quality, and most of the food was below average. The only truly positive aspect of our stay was the restaurant staff, who were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. Unfortunately, because of the misleading information regarding the parking and the poor quality of the all-inclusive services, we would not choose this hotel again and cannot recommend it.

Situated on a traffic and pedestrian busy street lined with narrow pavements surrounded by restaurants and shops and a few minutes walk from the sea with its narrow tiny beach where we enjoyed daily swims , I can't understand why it's called a palace as we didn't think that it was very palatial , anyway we had deluxe room in the new block and the room was nice with a modern feel, however I'm informed that not all accommodation is new and some dated older rooms leave a lot to be desired. Outside our room 215 is an electric generator the size of a small bus that kicks in if there's a power failure, and there was just once at 7.30am it's a diesel generator and the noise was horrendous! The restaurant is spotless and all tables have white table cloths , the food was nice but if you want it hot go in as soon as the food is put out because it will cool rapidly, drinks are typically all inclusive, for every drink you have at home you need six at the hotel for the same effect lol, cocktails are included up until 6pm ( greek time ) . Entertainment was errrrrrr well let's skip that for now because you might actually like it. In the morning sitting by the pool for a while was calm, peaceful, relaxing and tranquil, you could hear bird song, the trickle of water in the pool and the gentle wind rustling through the trees, totally relaxing , AND THEN COME 10AM the pool music came on for the whole Bl----dy day every day ! Boom, boom,boom 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵, after a while the animation team brought out a boom box on wheels and it was aqua aerobics time in the pool, the music was so loud you couldn't talk to each other boom, boom,boom 🎵🎶🎵 ! How is that relaxing ? Well I'll tell you , it's not relaxing it's awful, I'd like to sit the hotel manger in my nice garden for the day and I'll bring my ghetto blaster into the garden and turn the volume to maximum for 6 hours and then I'll ask him how relaxing his day was. Why on earth do holiday resorts think that loud pop music is relaxing? PS Many thanks to lovely Sonia on reception for her kindness.

Just had 5 nights at this fantastic hotel staying in a junior suite which was perfect for myself and daughter with free aircon which was much needed! The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel but I have to give a huge shout out to Stathis, by far the best barman in Zante!! The hotel was fairly busy but we never had a problem getting a sunbed or getting served at the bar. I am sure because of how well the hotel is run this has an effect on how all the guests interact with each other. It had such a chilled vibe and such a friendly atmosphere. The games did get quite lively but such a good laugh. We did the half day turtle tour with Peters Tours who are just round the corner from the hotel. I would highly recommend this trip. Thank you to all of the staff at the Diana Palace for making this such a wonderful holiday.

Our stayed was lovely. We really felt care for, from the housekeepers to the bartender and receptionists. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Close to the airport and great beaches. Special shout out to Stathis, fantastic bartender who’s always smiling and have the memory of an elephant! Knew our names and drinks by day 2. Also to all the waiters at the buffet who were so attentive and friendly.
