We returned from a weeks stay at this hotel a week ago. We were 6 ladies in our 60's. When we first checked in we realised we were nowhere near each other. We had the best room. A junior suite overlooking the pool near the Greek restaurant. Our friends had been placed in rooms elsewhere in the hotel. This was disappointing, particularly as one of our friends has mobility issues. However, after 2 nights they were all moved. One set of friends moved to the room next door to us and the others were directly below us. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff all go above and beyond and always greet you with a smile. We had breakfast and lunch in the Greek restaurant as it was convenient for us, but in the evening we mostly went to the main restaurant. We also really enjoyed our A La Carte experience. It made a nice change to have our meals served to us. I only have 2 small criticisms, but didn't want to give our experience 4 stars instead of 5 because of this Firstly, I am coeliac, and alot of the food wasn't labelled, particularly in The Greek restaurant, so this did make things a bit difficult for me. Secondly, the drinks at the beach bar really weren't that good. I love the atmosphere there, but sadly the drinks weren't great. The drinks on the Verandah terrace in the evening were so much better. However, overall we did have a fantastic holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone. We don't tend to return to places but I certainly would never say never. Thank you Dimitra Beach.
