Official Description

This hotel lies just 10 minutes away from the capital Oranjestad, and 5 minutes from Queen Beatrix international airport. It is situated on the famed Palm Beach, and backed by a private wildlife sanctuary. The modern and colourful hotel is rivalled only by its extraordinarily beautiful white beach. Guests can relax amongst palm trees, straw huts and hammocks, enjoying the view of the Caribbean Sea. The hotel itself adds to the Caribbean feeling with its authentic décor and numerous amenities. There are 101 suites and studios over 14 floors. Further facilities include a lobby, a hairdresser, a bar, a nightclub, a restaurant, conference facilities and public Internet (charges apply). Amenities include room and laundry service and a car park. The rooms feature colourful Caribbean décor and have a sea view. They are fitted with a bathroom/shower and a hairdryer, have a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a video recorder and fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a tea/coffee maker. The air conditioning is individually adjustable and all rooms offer a balcony or a terrace. In the outdoor complex there are 2 swimming pools with integrated children's pools, and sun loungers are laid out ready for use. Aruba Phoenix - revisited

This was our first trip to the Aruba Phoenix since Covid. We were pleasantly surprised by the many improvements made to the property. Buildings have been painted with upgraded balconies and a new snack bar featuring delicious pizza and sandwiches. Pure beach restaurant serves delicious food with generous size portions !!The beach and palapas have been upgraded ... makes a big difference. Although there is ongoing construction, it didn't bother us at all. Our pool and beach attendants were very helpful .. shout out to Joel, Julio, Ariel, Sandra and John. Our room supervisor, Pansie, was very helpful and couldn't have done anything more for us! We have always felt that the Divi Aruba Phoenix was a special "Home away from Home " and this trip reinforced that great feeling.

While the property is beachfront, it is worth noting that this particular stretch is the only area on the island where the water is noticeably cloudy an unfortunate surprise given our expectations. “Disappointing” doesn’t begin to capture our experience. Poolside service was essentially nonexistent during our stay. My wife mentioned that staff were supposed to be present from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, but I saw no sign of that. The resort activities were minimal at best, and an attempt to book an activity for our children resulted in a complete no-show from the staff, a particularly frustrating experience for a family-focused trip. Additionally, the resort becomes eerily quiet after 6:00 PM, with few guests lingering, and its location is far removed from the main restaurant and entertainment areas on the island. If you're looking for a more fulfilling vacation experience, I highly recommend spending a bit more to stay in the northern part of the island, where you'll find higher-quality accommodations, more vibrant beaches, and far better access to dining and amenities.

We LOVE Aruba!

My family and I visit Aruba every year, it’s a family tradition. We always stay at Divi. We have been going here for about 10 years now. The staff at Divi have become part of our family. They are so friendly so happy and they always make us feel welcomed. Sandra Mora, Julio, Andreas…we look forward to seeing them every year! Along with the rest of the staff. There’s a saying about if someone visits the same place each year there must be something magical about it. We love Aruba and cannot wait to come back next year.
