Official Description

This hotel lies just 10 minutes away from the capital Oranjestad, and 5 minutes from Queen Beatrix international airport. It is situated on the famed Palm Beach, and backed by a private wildlife sanctuary. The modern and colourful hotel is rivalled only by its extraordinarily beautiful white beach. Guests can relax amongst palm trees, straw huts and hammocks, enjoying the view of the Caribbean Sea. The hotel itself adds to the Caribbean feeling with its authentic décor and numerous amenities. There are 101 suites and studios over 14 floors. Further facilities include a lobby, a hairdresser, a bar, a nightclub, a restaurant, conference facilities and public Internet (charges apply). Amenities include room and laundry service and a car park. The rooms feature colourful Caribbean décor and have a sea view. They are fitted with a bathroom/shower and a hairdryer, have a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a video recorder and fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a tea/coffee maker. The air conditioning is individually adjustable and all rooms offer a balcony or a terrace. In the outdoor complex there are 2 swimming pools with integrated children's pools, and sun loungers are laid out ready for use. Sports enthusiasts can try their hand at aerobics, go to the gym, dive to explore wrecks sunk during the Second World War, windsurfing, go on cycle tours, play squash, and also play golf or tennis nearby. Arriba Aruba the Beautiful

This was by far our most fun and beautiful Carribean experience out of the 4 islands we have visited over the past 15 years. The Aruba natives were some of the friendliest people we have ever had the opportunity to get to know. They are truly Happy People, as they should be on such a gem of an island. The resort was really very pretty (despite the ongoing construction we were notified of in plenty of time, so no surprise), with a nice decent sized pool (actually 2 pools), and a very nice and spacious pool bar. Two daily Happy Hours made the pool crowd fun. We participated in several great adventurous trips laid on by the hotel. All in all it was an enormously fun and wonderful experience. We loved the 1-bedroom suite...loved the many choices in wonderful restaurants...Thank you Aruba!

The Divi Aruba Phoenix Resort - fun in the sun!

The Divi Aruba Phoenix is a beautiful resort! The staff is so friendly and very helpful. The resort is directly beach front and the area is amazing! My husband and I spent ten days here, and enjoyed the beautiful clean pools, the delicious food at the restaurants, the pristine beach, and the variety of activities going on at the resort. There is a nice grilling area, equipped with four grills. The Deli provides bbq tools you can check out to use during your stay. There is a gym on the property. We enjoyed lunch at the swim-up bar, along with happy hour fun! The Wave Shack has great pizza. There is a long boardwalk that runs along the beach connecting the resorts and beach front restaurants. You can walk safely day or night to other properties or beach front restaurants. You will see others walking, or out for a morning run along the boardwalk. There is a bus stop directly in front of the resort. $2.60 to ride the bus downtown, or up to the Hi-rise hotel area. We walked to Super Foods, bought groceries, and took a cab back for $10. There is a fresh seafood store on the right side of the grocery store, called Daily Fish. They have delicious fresh fish, and will cook it for you. No need to buy bottled water. The water in Aruba is very clean and safe to drink. The Divi Resort is a well-maintained property. It has spacious well-equipped rooms. We had a very comfortable king size bed with a beautiful ocean view patio. They serviced our room every day with fresh towels, and they removed our trash. We enjoyed the water aerobics in the morning, long walks on the beach at night, and everything in between at the resort. We look forward to another vacation to the Divi Aruba Beach Resort. What would we change? We struggled getting a lounge chair under an umbrella at the pool. Some folks leave their towels there continuously. Hopefully the resort will work out a solution with this issue.

Just love this place. Has a great beach with very calm waters. Large enough pool and just a beautiful view. 2 restaurants on property if you do not want to go to the strip. Great getaway and plenty of rest, sun and fun. Sandra Mora in the towel area was great. Julio and his team for beach chairs always helpful. Thanks Divi always great.

Perfect beach vacation

We just returned from 9 nights at the Divi Phoenix. The beach/pool staff were great. Julio welcomed us every morning with a smile and promptly set up our chairs on the beach. We look forward to our days on the beach at the Divi Phoenix and people like Julio make it that much more special.

Perfect place on the beach

This place was wonderful. Great amenities but not over the top fancy. The food was good but the location was great. Our room walked right out to the pools and bar with a view of the ocean. The beach views were great. It was perfect for swimming and walking the coastline. Julio was so great to bring us chairs every morning with a smile.
