Doğan Hotel by Prana Hotels & Resorts has met the requirements of the "Assesment Criteria for Covid-19 and Hygiene Measures to be Implemented in the hotels and their Food & Beverage Venues during the Pandemic " published within the framework of the "Safe Tourism Certification Program " and has become entitled to recieve "Safe Tourism Certificate". This original and welcoming hotel is set right in the centre of Kaleci, Antalya's historic old town which is famous for its narrow, cobblestone streets and Ottoman-era architecture. Outstanding Small Hotel with Amazing Staff

Lovely small hotel with lots of character close to the harbour and in the old town. The hotel was absolutely spotless with our bedding and towels changed very regularly. The highlight of the hotel is the Manager Cigdern and the Staff with special mention to Deniz and Adam but our cleaning lady and the breakfast staff were also amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive. If we were visiting Antalya again we would definitely stay at this hotel.

Very disappointing

We were part of a small group and whilst most of our friends were located elsewhere in the hotel, we had a room in the main building where the reception is. The room was so narrow and full of furniture that we had nowhere to put our luggage let alone open it. When we asked to change a room, we were told that they are full and could only move us the next day. Being there for only 2 nights, we opted to stay and rearrange furniture to find space to at least open our suitcases. Bathroom is also very small, fits only one person at a time. Furthermore, the walls in this hotel are very thin and we could hear every word and movement in the rooms near us as well as all the car/motorbike and pedestrian traffic outside. We managed very little sleep during our two nights there. Breakfast was fine. Luckily, there is plenty to explore in Antalya and nearby to spend time outside the hotel. I would not recommend it for longer stays. Good location.

Quaint Hotel.

Large room with tiny bathroom. Our room (125) had a sloping ceiling that took a lot of getting used to. A few times of banging my head I soon learnt to stoop to get under it. Anyone above average height watch out! Room was equipped with Safe, Fridge/mini bar. plenty of sockets including each side of the bed. Large balcony (Even had room for a sunbed) with partial harbour view. Area can be noisy late at night. Fridge was noisy day and night. Periodically making a humming noise followed by a loud clanking. Staff friendly. Maid service quite erratic replenishing toiletries etc. Breakfast adequate but there was a charge for orange juice and no water available.

Charming enough hotel in great area

Personally I was happy enough with my stay here. A nice room with a view over the pool, an acceptable breakfast and staff willing to carry my luggage up the stairs. However others in my group were less happy and clearly as you might expect with a hotel built into a number of old building, the rooms were of a variable size and quality - some apparently don't have windows. Oh, as for my view of the pool - it was empty when we arrived and on day two they started filling it with an ordinary garden hose; likely to take at least ten days to fill I'd guess. I know it's early in the season but I would have use the pool if it had water in it! Last comment: it is in a great location in the old town, although this does necessitate dragging your luggage distance from the road. But a small price to pay to be in a car-free area.
