Official Description

Ideal for beach vacationers and families, this resort lies in Playa Blanca, near the sea. The resort was modernized in 2021. A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 6 suites and 359 double rooms. The reception desk is open around the clock. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided to guests. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Further services and facilities include a transfer service, 24-hour room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a page service and a hotel doctor. Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. There is also a safe and, for a fee, a minibar. Equipped with a flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi (no extra charge), the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. 14 wheelchair-friendly rooms can be reserved. The complex has 36 family rooms and 465 non-smoking rooms.

Just back from our 10th stay at the hotel and it was one of our best. The food in the restaurants has really stepped up the last couple of times we have been there. All of the staff are brilliant and are so good with the kids. Massive shout out to Valentina who ran the kids mini disco every night our kids are still talking about how much they loved her

5 star hotel with staff who go the extra mile

We stayed in a Preferred Club room on a half-board basis and had an amazing experience. The hotel itself is stunning, but what really stood out was how genuinely welcoming and attentive the staff were throughout our stay. We were especially impressed to find a dedicated baby weaning menu — such a thoughtful touch! Our 7-month-old was able to enjoy freshly prepared, blended meals every day, which made dining so much easier for us. A special thank you to Mahou at Reception, Ahmed at Rendezvous, and Kevin & Braidy at Barracuda for their exceptional service — they really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend Dreams Lanzarote for families looking for a relaxing, well-catered holiday.

Honeymoon in Paradise

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We paid for the preferred club and we were treated like royalty. Staff amazing, facilities great, and the full hotel was very clean as all times. We paid for bed and breakfast so we could experience so of the local bars and restaurants for our evening meals. However we did pay to have 3 meals in the hotel during our stay which were all lovely. Breakfast was good, hot food was decent, but the range of choice of hot and cold foods was exceptional. Location ideal near some beautiful bars and restaurants in the marina. Overall just an amazing place to stay, again amazing staff who treat you like family. Thank you so much for making our special holiday so perfect. We will be back.....and we can't wait to return.

Bad customer service

Disappointing experience for a ‘5 star hotel’ First incident we were in the world cafe and we were served by a waiter who was accompanied by another waiter who he was clearly training and showing him what to do. They took the order and the trainee waiter came back with the drinks alone. Of course he wasn’t really sure what he was doing or who had what drink and subsequently dropped a whole bottle of Fanta orange all over my baby pink playsuit! The only thing any of the staff said was sorry and of course I had to go and get dressed as it smelt and looked awful. We came back to the table and no one further came over to speak to us and the remainder of the Fanta was on the floor and this was not cleared up for the remainder of our meal time, even after mentioning it to another waiter. Me and my partner decided to eat in Sabor the next day. I had the salmon roll for starter and prawns for main. That night I was throwing up from both ends and I was really concerned that it was food poisoning! We approached the front desk to warn them about what had happened and the guy did not understand a word of what we were saying. He then brung out the manager of reception who said they will contact guest services and someone will call us back. They never called. My boyfriend ended up going to guest services again to make them aware of the situation and make sure this hadn’t happened to anyone else. The lady was very dismissive and said everyone was fine and the food is safe and I would need proof that it was food poisoning as it’s unfair to blame them and it could be because the water is different there! They said I would need a blood test, my boyfriend is a doctor and as most people are aware the best way to test for food poisoning is a sick or a stool sample, a blood test would not show anything. She ended up saying ‘what do you want me to do about it’ we simply wanted to raise awareness and she showed no empathy to me being unwell. Very dissatisfied with the customer service of some staff. Two bad experiences and the staff did not offer any compassion or willingness to compensate. Sad because some parts of the holiday were enjoyable. The entertainment team were great. Avoid if possible.
