Eden Resort

Eden resort is excellent in every way you could not fault it from the exceptional staff to the beautiful environment. The greetings we received in the reception, restaurants, bars, pools and spa were always fantastic. The housekeeping and maintenance service is excellent maintaining the grounds so nice. It is such a safe place for a family holiday and a great place to make some holiday friends which my son Charlie made some lovely friends. The lovely gentleman driving the shuttle bus each day so kind and generous to everyone. Also the entertainment staff so full of energy and fun for all the kids they are remarkable how they stay so full of positivity great team. Special thanks to the reception staff and Thelma for helping out my husband with his back very much appreciated by us. We will definitely be back again to the beautiful Eden resort.

Very family friendly kids club but caters for babies too with baby corner that you could go to with baby. Aqua park great for kids. Restaurant staff very friendly. Nice apartment

Long review, but in summary, this family friendly resort is definitely worth a visit if you want something within an hour of faro airport, 5mins drive to Albufeira old town and suitable for children (top marks for the entertainment team, kids activities, all inclusive food, very friendly staff, and the location)…. This was our first family holiday abroad to a resort. I did a lot of research before it as I wanted to ensure it was going to be great… and great it was!! Eden has everything for families. On arrival, we had a smooth check in. You can book items which you’d like to be left in your apartment upon arrival. You need to give a small refundable deposit for these items ( bottle sterilisers, baby monitors, high chairs, potty, baby bath, bouncer, baby mat etc…. This was very useful and saved previous suitcase space!! All the 2beds are ground floor and 1bed apartments are first floor. Our apartment was one bed, which was very spacious. It had two single beds together, a travel cot for baby and a sofa bed for our four year old. The sofa beds were two single beds in the living room which are useful for two children as they are not sharing blankets. The food was excellent. We went all inclusive which was very worthwhile. This included breakfast, lunch, snacks all day and evening meals… with a selection of most beverages included. My husband is a very plain and picky eater… (meat , potatoes, chips, plain veg)…. So I was a little unsure of going all inclusive… Even he enjoyed the food every morning and evening meal. There was a wide selection of food always, and the evening meals changed every night and followed a theme eg, BBQ/Asian/Italian….. The food staff are excellent and so good with children. The buffet is always full and kept very clean even when very busy. The entertainment every day was exceptional. There was plenty to do all day, with activities planned from 10am-6pm….. Some evenings there was bouncy castles, and mini cars for the kids to play in the Astro turf area (costs €10 per 30mins) and the kids love it. We availed of the safe kids club daily, the entertainment team are so kind and caring with the kids. Also the body and mind every morning is lovely for mom&dad!! There is a newly refurbished playground on site and a spa with an indoor pool which was useful for the cloudy days (bring swimming hats). There is a games area for older kids and a tennis court. You can also get a variety of board and card games from reception AND book cool toys for small kids e.g. toy kitchen to be left in your apartment. On site , there is a small shop which sells a variety of food , toys, suncream etc. There is an outdoor adult pool which is peaceful and quiet every day. There is a splash park area for the kids which they loved!! And there is the main pool area which they play games in for adults and children. I’d recommend looking at the map of the resort to have an idea of the area. Total 5 pools. We did get a taxi to Albufeira old town a few times (cost €4) which only takes about 5mins…. You can also walk it and will take approximately 20mins. However, there is also Free transfer available to and from the city centre daily at certain times. The apartments were cleaned daily and was so nice to return to in the afternoons after a morning at the pool. To conclude, it is definitely worth a visit to Eden resort, particularly if you have younger families. The staff at Eden have thought of everything to cater for younger children. Looking forward to our return visit again very soon!!

Our Villa was great both in the location and size! It was beyond what I expected! The staff were mostly friendly and courteous and always obliging ! Overall a truly satisfying experience!
