Just returned from a 2 weeks holiday, family of 4 adults and 2 kids, and wanted to post our findings. We arrived after 11pm and reception was empty, possibly helped as we book a private transfer. Reception area is beautiful and spacious. Ground floor along with reception is a bar area, plenty seating around also to chill out. Only place you can get a cocktail in the hotel on the AI. And only one option at that. Ground floor area has barbers, shop, tattooist, seating area, spa and main dinning area. Also has a small kids fun area. Indoor pool and Gym are just by the spa. Quickly booked in by the helpful and friendly staff we got 1 family room (upgraded prior to arriving) with 2 large bed rooms with one room with double and one single bed and kids room with 2 single beds. Each room had a couch and large dressing table. Entrance hall led also to the shower and toilet room just off the hall. Each room had its own large balcony. Very happy with the room and the condition of it, clean and well presented. Fridge located in the hall and was well stocked with water, pepsi and orange juice ( stocked by our lovely cleaner when needed). The other room for 2 adults was large bedroom with double and single bed with couch and large dressing table, large toile/shower room. Also large balcony. Aircon in each of the beds rooms was excellent. Large pool area with plenty sunbeds. Always got beds & parasol for our party but was up before breakfast to make sure lol. Didn't see any issue with "sunbed wars" but considering you also have the pools at the island and the beach to use would be hard not to get somewhere. Area was always clean and tidy, until the guest messed it up! But staff did well to keep on top pf this and were always going round collecting glasses etc. Life guards on watch at every pool and also at the slide, controlling when you can use them and making them as safe as possible. Bar at the pool was decent, staff were great. Beer and local spirits and soft drinks were free on the AI. Cocktails and label spirits had to be paid for here. Cocktails were great but average between 8 & 10 euros. Ice creams here and iced drinks also had to be paid for. The slide at the Ocean and Island were great fun for kids and really big kids! Burger land is open 24 hrs (im sure). The main buffet restaurant covered breakfast, lunch and dinner. We felt the was always something at every sitting that satisfied our taste buds. Usual breakfast stuff. Lunch had the grill with fresh cooked fish, meats etc. Backed potatoes were great. loads of salad options and cheeses etc. Same for dinner. As always fro such a big complex it did get busy a few times, especially dinner. Always got a table but felt staff were push trying to clear tables and setup again. Few times we got table service for drinks but mostly just did the bar trip ourselves, again as staff were always busier cleaning up and resetting. There are 2 other a la carte options you can book, one night only for your stay. We did the Italian night and it was decent. The entertainment team are great during the day with the usual pool side activities. In the evening the main entertainment is on the island. As i mentioned the island has plenty water slide, bigger than the Ocean, shops, bars, beach disco, tattooist, & couple smaller quieter pools. Also has the snack bar open from 12-4. Great options here at the chicken, burger, pizza, kebab, baked potatoes etc. As always, same as the main restaurant, most popular and longest queue was for waffles!. Bar here offers beer and wine on AI. Also has a pay bar with cocktails and named spirits etc. Main evening shows started at 9.30 in the amphitheatre and last approx 45 minutes. Shows were gymnastic, magician, dancing, bubble show, Mr and Mrs Eftalia etc. It can get a bit over crowded here on some nights. Bars are outside the theatre so get your drinks before going in as your seats may be gone on your return! Club disco night on the beach were fantastic. Loud, great light show, great DJs and the music was brilliant. Most people were up dancing here and enjoying the tunes. These are not negatives but if the hotel management read these then more staff in the at dinner time may help with a little less chaos but appreciate you cant control when everyone turns up for dinner. More entertainment at other areas other than the amphitheatre to stop as much over crowding in one area. Some other cocktails on the AI (Please) Over all this was a fantastic trip for anyone looking at reviews to help decide. Cant fault it and would consider going back at any point. Special shout out to Mehmett (mon the hoops) and Zafer at the pool bar. Great to chat with and cocktails were amazing. Rest of the staff here were also great and friendly. Mr socks on the entertainment team. Loved singing sweet Caroline on duet with you at the pool side. Hes always friendly and kind. Again, to be fair all the team work hard to keep the guest active and entertained. Our cleaner on the 6th floor, Resmziye (sorry if thats wrong). Great displays on the beds and always clean and fresh. All staff were always nice and friendly. Love Turkiye and the people! Days out to consider we did. Jeep safari was great fun. Water fights and some great stop offs for drinks and food. Loved this Big Kral pirate ship. Good fun, great laugh and foam party and disco on way back. Booked with the team at the beach just outside Island pool bar. London irish pub was nice for food and drinks and the green heaven pub. Had a wonderful dinner here also
