The excellent holiday hotel El Cid la Ceiba Beach enjoys a wonderful beachfront location on the paradisiacal island of Cozumel, across from Playa del Carmen. 5/5 experience Rodger Lopez was so nice and so kind he is a great addition to the el cid hotel in Cozumel.when he walks around he is always smiling and laughing and it is so nice to experience that kindness and happiness. Hope to see the guy again!!❤️

Good and beverages with really good quality and variety; service on waiters/waitress, lobby team and house keep really close and kind. Ammenities in hotel include snorkeling area, spa, all inclusive meals with seafood variety, beach club and small pool and jacuzzi.

Very disappointed El Cid Vacation Club member!

Our room was a one bedroom with a king size bed with a living room and kitchenette. The couch converted to a bed also. The TV in the bedroom did not work well and the remote control batteries were dead. The TV in the living room worked fine. When you stay at El Cid resorts in Puerto Morelos and pay for the all inclusive, the room refrigerator was stocked with water, sodas, and beer but not in Cozumel. At El Cid Cozumel they have one restaurant and a cevicheria that you have to pay extra to order off the menu and for canned beer and “premium liquor “. The staff is friendly, especially the bell men, the front desk staff is friendly alsobut make sure they charge you up front for the all-inclusive if you want it, instead of having to come up with the money at the end of your vacation. The activities director Roger Lopez very friendly and was awesome, and the restaurant staff was very attentive and friendly. The bar tender really needs to learn to make a proper Piña Colada. You can’t taste hardly any piña in their drinks. I won’t waste my money at El Cid Cozumel again and I cannot recommend it to anyone else. The best part of my stay was the ocean view.

What a great place to relax. The employees are fantastic. The life guard is the best one I have ever witnessed. Eric was also first aide and jam up in that area. Just go there and see for yourself

While looking for other hotels twice, we checked and compared rates. We ended staying here. We got a good rate and we extended for one more day. Nice and quite location, all rooms are ocean view and in front of the cruises pierre. Nice beach access and good area for snorkeling. Widely recommended. Excellent service eventhough we had a little issue with the room cleaning. Safe and and close to the touristic area.
