Wonderful boutique family hotel in Bodrum city within easy walking distance of the castle and harbour

Bodrum is a wonderful destination, beautiful and full of history, and very easy to reach with direct flights to Bodrum airport from Stansted. El Vino is a fantastic hotel and is the perfect place to stay. It is a short walk from the seafront with a great view down to the castle and harbour. The rooms have been completely modernised while keeping all their personality and charm. The bed was comfortable and our room was quiet. Deniz the hotel manager is always available to help and all the staff are kind, welcoming and professional. The breakfast spread is fabulous, a real feature of the hotel. We especially enjoyed the yoghurt with dried and fresh fruit, the wide choice of Turkish cheeses, the variety of olives and the great range of homemade bread and pastries. We loved the homemade jam - you must try the quince and the tangerine! The hotel has many loyal regular customers and we plan to be among them in the future

A very good hotel to be recommended. The staff in particular Can, Serkan and Bejna were extremly helpful and friendly. A fine hotel in general not forgetting Kiki the dog. If you need a relaxing stay try this hotel and you are also 15 minutes walk from the Marina.

Best hotel in Bodrum. Great rooms, beautiful gardens and excellent service. Staff were always helpful. Restaurant food and breakfast were very good. For a chilled and relaxing break. We will be back.

Above and beyond in Bodrum

What a triumph to choose this property and be entirely delighted. Coming from the hubbub of airline travel to this vine covered hotel in Bodrum was a balm. In the Turkish heat of late summer, the rooms are cool and inviting. The pool is a focus and quiet with shaded areas for those who are sun averse. The breakfast tasty and varied with fresh fruits, cheeses, eggs, breads, and the ever present fantastic Turkish tomatoes. When I arrived I did so without my suitcase, “delayed “ a day by the airline. Panic was averted by the kindly intervention of manager Magnolia and assistant Efe who did battle in persuasive Turkish with the airline Lost and Found. This hotel to me has no faults. I’m so happy and grateful to have stayed there.

Beautiful. There honestly isn't much more to say about this stunning hotel, and it's wonderful staff, other than beautiful. Room was clean, cosy, tastefully decorated, with a lovely private seating area outside. Tea and coffee supplied, toiletries available, as well as a safe. Air-conditioning worked brilliantly. The pool area is breathtaking. Bougainvillea and jasmine flowers are everywhere, creating privacy around the pool and filling the air with perfume. The rooftop pool is not to be missed. The resident cats, and dog Kiki, are so very friendly, and made our trip unforgettable. The staff were so friendly, always a smile, they were a joy to be around. Make sure to partake in afternoon tea - what a lovely gesture, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back!
