We recently stayed at this hotel for 8 nights as a family of nine, and after our experience, I would personally rate it 2 stars, maybe 3 at a push, but definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised. On arrival, the check-in process was fairly smooth. The staff kindly took our bags up to our rooms and showed us around, which was a nice touch. The rooms themselves were clean, tidy, and presentable, as was the overall hotel environment. So, first impressions were good in terms of cleanliness and general appearance. The main restaurant food is very repetitive — the same dishes every day. That being said, we always managed to find something to eat, as we understand that all-inclusive resorts often rotate similar meals. The quality was average, not terrible but nothing special. The snack bar, however, was a real letdown. Different foods are only available at certain times, and on one occasion I queued for half an hour for a kebab wrap, only to be told that kebabs had finished and I’d have to settle for a burger instead. This understandably frustrated many guests who had been waiting in line. If you want something specific, you have to queue early otherwise, you’ll be disappointed as the lines get very long. (See video) On our second day, my partner was using the shower when the handle fell off completely (photos to follow). To the hotel’s credit, when I reported it to reception, maintenance arrived promptly and repaired it straight away. However, the lack of bins in hotel was inconvenient. Around the pool area, there was a constant unpleasant smell of sewage, and the snack bar area was full of flies and occasionally smelled of urine — definitely not what you expect from a 4-star property. The spa was one of the highlights of our stay. The staff there were professional, welcoming, and attentive. We had a lovely time and I would definitely recommend the spa to anyone visiting this hotel — it was relaxing and worth the visit. Unfortunately, the entertainment was very repetitive. Each day consisted of the same activities: darts, morning gym, table tennis, and occasionally some poolside dancing — always to the same songs on repeat. There is a kids club, but it’s located inside the hotel itself, so I can’t comment on what it’s like as our children didn’t attend. During the evenings, we had bingo twice, a live band, and some acrobats. While the entertainment team tried their best, the setup was poor. For example, the band played in the lounge area where there weren’t enough seats, so many people had to stand around. The acrobat show was pushed to the far end of the pool bar, making it impossible to see unless you stood up or even stood on chairs. The entertainment team themselves were enthusiastic and friendly, but it was clear they were limited by the hotel management in what they could do. Unfortunately, many of us became unwell during our stay with sickness and stomach issues. Four English women had a loud, aggressive argument, screaming and swearing for about 20 minutes right before the bingo started. This took place in front of children, families, and elderly guests. The entertainment reps did nothing, and even laughed about it. Meanwhile, some guests clapped and cheered them on, which was appalling. If this hotel truly was a 4-star establishment, security would have intervened immediately and escorted them out. The bar staff were generally rude and unhelpful, often serving with their phone in their hand, and cocktails were just slop of any alcohol they wanted to put in. especially during busy times. This added to the overall frustration. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. This hotel has potential — it’s clean and the spa is great — but the poor management, hygiene concerns, repetitive entertainment, and unprofessional handling of incidents completely let it down.
