We just returned from a 10-day stay at Fairmont Mayakoba with our family. This was our fourth time at Fairmont Mayakoba and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional – every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. The food at every restaurant was outstanding, with so much variety!! The hotel grounds are stunning, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, and the rooms were always spotless and comfortable. A special shoutout to some of the amazing team members who made our stay extra memorable: Grounds driver - Ramon who went above and beyond to make our stay so special!! Boat tour - Noe Pool staff - Alphonso, Fernando, Miguel and Rodolfo Beach bar - Alberto Beach staff - Hugo Cleaning staff - Lilianna Concierge - Brenda and Fabian Hotel transportation - Miguel Spa - Lua and Dayana Restaurants: Hix Bar and Lobby Lounge - Oscar, David and Emilio Bassano - Carlos Gaia - Thonatiou Tauro - German La Laguna - Adalberto Brisas - Oasis Thank you so much to everyone at Fairmont Mayakoba for making our family vacation so perfect. The most beautiful resort to date that I’ve stayed at 🤍. It is kept very clean, extremely courteous staff, beautiful rooms with great amenities, and by far the most delicious restaurant there is Tauro! The “cheque” process can be confusing at first to understand when staying all-inclusive, so just make sure to ask a staff member to explain it to you when you first check in. Brought my 2 teenage kids and there was plenty for us to do around the resort, as well as the Tour desk is great at making recommendations for tours you may want to go on. Would come back again, and recommend to anyone thinking about staying at this gorgeous resort!

Very nice grounds. Great stay until they double charged my credit card on check out. Now I am trying to contact hotel and credit card company to get extra charge reversed. Be very careful regarding what you sign and make sure you have adequate documentation for all your card charges.

A Truly Exceptional Vacation Experience

Fairmont Mayakoba is, hands down, one of the best vacation destinations we’ve ever visited. We booked the all-inclusive package, and it was absolutely worth it. Daily breakfast at La Laguna was a highlight — the food selection was fantastic, fresh, and varied enough to keep things exciting each morning. We dined at nearly all the resort restaurants (except Cielo), and each offered something special. Some stood out more than others, but overall, the quality was consistently high. The service throughout our stay was exceptional — truly one of the most memorable aspects of the trip. Special thank you’s to: Oasis – Brisas: Our server here was amazing. When our son asked for sweet potato fries, he went out of his way to make it happen. Eduardo: Another wonderful server at Brisas who made our meals that much more enjoyable. Eva (Host at Brisas) and Dimitri (Brisas) were great. Dimitri was especially impressive — he remembered guests’ names (including ours!) and always made sure everyone was having a great time. Our son really enjoyed his interactions with him Erandy & Alejandra (La Laguna): Both were so kind and attentive throughout our stay. Kids Club – Yadira & Giovanni: They made us feel so welcome on our first day. When they found out it was our son’s birthday, they surprised him with a beautiful note, a personalized toy he could paint, and a birthday cake — such a thoughtful and touching gesture. Alberto (Bassano): Thank you for making our son’s birthday so special. Your full baritone rendition of “Buon Compleanno” was a showstopper! Oscar (Boat Tour Guide): Our boat tour was a highlight of the trip, thanks to Oscar’s friendly, informative, and fun personality. Gregorio (Housekeeping): Your attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. We especially appreciated how you noticed we liked spending time on the balcony in the afternoons and moved the round chaise to the shaded side for our comfort — such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Our kiddo keeps reiterating, “This is the best vacation ever!” — and we couldn’t agree more. Thank you to the incredible team at Fairmont Mayakoba for making our stay so magical — especially for our little one. We can’t wait to return!
