Fergus Style Cala Blanca Suites

We really enjoyed our stay at Fergus Cala blanca suites, overall the hotel was clean and staff were all so polite and helpful! The hotel itself was 10/10! Our balcony door was broken and they mended the door straight away! The food is so good and there is something for everyone you cannot complain about it at all, the only thing we could say is the restaurant isn’t overly big so sometimes people had to Wait for people to leave to come in so it almost become a race to get there dead on time or you had to wait and if you have kids 6.30 can be quite late already so having to wait longer isn’t ideal. The drinks only run from 11am- 11pm all inclusive so you can only get some juice and hot drinks with breakfast then have to wait until the pool bar opens for any more drinks, this isn’t really ideal, the evening bar doesn’t open until 5pm and again this is quite small and the queues for drinks of an evening can take quite some time with only two bar staff! So it’s a lot of fun waiting around and queuing. The entertainment is ok and they put a lot of effort in, the only downside is the seating area- it’s quite small and there were never enough seats for the guests to sit so was always a race to try to eat to get a seat for the evening. Pool is quite small and very very busy - it’s more of a play pool all day and no chance to actually swim in it, they do have a fantastic kids pool though and a very cold indoor pool which is nice too! The only problem is there is never enough sun beds and people were getting up at 5 in the morning to reserve sun beds and if you don’t get out to do the same you don’t get one! The pool does link on to a lovely little private beach area which is really lovely! We found the area quite quiet with only a small square with a few bars and restaurants but after a 15 minute walk there is a nice picturesque boating doc and beach which was really lovely! We loved the hotel and had a lovely holiday but would probably return as a couple not as a family so that we could stay out of the busy and use the roof top terrace suites and hot tubs instead of the busy days down by the pool instead!

I can’t rate this hotel group enough! This is our 3rd year visiting this hotel and all 3 of our children absolutely love it! The staff are so friendly and welcoming it really makes a difference to our holiday. The children’s club & entertainment is one of the best we have ever visited and we look forward so much to our next holiday here! Well done to all of you! You really made our holiday fabulous!

This was our first family holiday abroad, and first all inclusive holiday, and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. There was a large bottle of water in the fridge when wd arrived which was nice and the room was lovely and cool from the air conditioning . Our room was a suite which consisted of a double bed in the bedroom and a small pull out bed and sofa bed in the living area for our two teenage kids. They were perfectly happy and there was plenty of space in the rooms. The living area also had a small table and chairs and a separate dressing room with a hanging rail, bench, shelving and the safe which was great. The balcony was large with a drying rail for swimwear, a table and chairs for two, and a comfy lounger as well. The bathroom was spacious and the shower over the bath had good power and temperature control. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the beds were made and floor swept every day by the housekeeping staff, and towels replaced if required. We were able to borrow an iron and ironing board when needed and extra hotel towels for the pool/ beach which was excellent. The hotel food was delicious and the choices were vast, there was always something available for all tastes, including fussy eaters. Each night there was also a themed food option which was really good, we had Spanish, Oriental, Italian, Moroccan and Mexican for this during our stay. The kids especially enjoyed the mocktails and chilled water on tap from the bar and restaurant throughout the day. The grounds of the hotel were maintained beautifully, and the building/ stairways etc. were freshly painted and very clean and tidy at all times. The hotel reception area smelled amazing! The facilities were good, a pool table, two table tennis tables and a sand volley ball pitch were good fun, although we feel a football pitch instead of volley ball would be better as the boys in particular, of all ages, mostly played football next to the volley ball pitch. The main kids club activities for younger children were varied and looked good fun. There was also a board by the restaurant with a timetable of all the activities. The evening entertainment was really good, we had dancing, singing and bingo during our stay. The pool was a good size and was very clean with lots of seating around and on the patio areas. It also had a lovely view at one end of the private beach. The small private beach accessed from the hotel complex is lovely and the main beach at Santa Ponca is great as its only a 10-15 minute walk away, so nice and close. The Santa Ponca beach has paddle boat, sun lounger and jet ski hire, and boat trips for scenic views and dolphin watching. The hotel staff were really helpful with giving directions and information on the buses ( which were also good) , as were the in - situ holiday reps. Overall we would all love to return to this hotel and would happily recommend it to others for a brilliant relaxing family holiday.

The staff are amazing has to be one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Staff all round are happy to help and carry a smile on their faces. The rooms are amazing and the entertainers keep the kids going by remembering all their names and constantly making them feel special. The hotel room so clean and the restaurant has a different night based on culture around the world
