We came off a cruise that landed in Athens, so it was a rush to ourselves and all our luggage to Aegean Airlines in time to make it to Santorini, so by the time we landed in Santorini, we were indeed stressed and exhausted. I'd pre-arranged with Fileria for a shuttle from airport to hotel, with an early morning return the next morning (6 am). Felix was our shuttle driver and he met us with our names displayed, then snagged our luggage and led us out to a surprisingly luxurious shuttle van, where we finally relaxed a bit to enjoy the utterly scenic 30-minute ride. Anna Marie was there with a smile to meet us at the entrance to the hotel while Felix and friends dealt with our luggage. She led us to a lower level reception to handle paperwork, and she passed us water and fantastic little chocolates; gave us a map of Oia and handled our questions, then led us to our first-floor junior suite. It was beautifully appointed with simple elegance, an uber-comfortable bed, a neat little outdoor coffee-nook and a spaciously clean bathroom. The value was outstanding. For as good as everything was on our arrival, it was better on our departure. We told them of the urgency in getting to the airport early (the rest of our trip would have been cancelled had we not made it), and they were at our door at 6am sharp with a knock, and the grabbed all our luggage, loaded up, handled room key and we were on our way. 20 minutes and we were at the airport! Anna Marie was also on the ball as she packaged up a quick "breakfast" of juice boxes, bottled water, packaged chocolate croissants and some odd, tasteless crackers (LOL) and delivered it the night before we left. I encourage visitors to stay here. It was so beautiful, clean and well-managed with personal, thoughtful attention to every detail. Truly one of the highlights of our trip and a fine way to end one of our most memorable vacations ever.
